«This apartment is a bit out of town but has amazing views and is right on a cheap bus route. There is a lovely bakery a short walk away and we ate out on the terrace under the orange tree watching the world go by and the cruise liners in the bay.The air conditioning works well and is really quiet. Some of the furnishings are a little tired but we found the price good value, excellent bathrooms and shower. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond. «Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem tollen Haus am Meer. Der uneingeschränkte Meerblick, der wunderschöne Garten und das großzügige Wohnzimmer haben den Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Auch die Ausstattung, inkl. Grill, Waschmaschine, viele Töpfe und Pfannen sowie ausreichend Liegen ließ keine Wünsche offen. An den Felsen kann man prima schnorcheln. Ein großes Dankeschön noch an den super Verwalter! Er war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt!»

«We had a great stay. It was very clean and close to the heart of Taormina. Big shower. Great kitchen. Excellent communication with the owner. The stairs are a little hard to get up and down but also very charming. Parking is difficult and you need to walk 10 minutes as you can’t park right next to the place. Overall, highly recommend!»

We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. The house was great for the family with two bedrooms downstairs, although you walk through one to get to the other. Carparking was a bonus and we used the outdoor patio a lot. «Positive: This is a cute place in the town of Taormina. Negative: it is LOUD. They’re a lot noise until very late at night (ie 2am). Not only that, there’s the garbage/ recycling truck that comes by EVERY morning around 7am. This could have been mentioned in the description of the house. Negative: it is very hard to communicate with the super aggressive owner, who sends a text for every little thing through day. «Wir verbrachten 17 Nächte in Luisas Appartement. Im Obergeschoß wohnt ihr Sohn, er ist sehr freundlich, bei Fragen kann man sich immer an ihn wenden. Es gibt zwei verschiedene Eingänge zu den Wohneinheiten, so hat man kaum Berührungspunkte. Der Pool ist groß und wurde während der Zeit nur von uns genutzt. Um die Säuberung haben wir uns mit gekümmert. Das Haus liegt ca. 5 Minuten von Scicli entfernt, dort kann man gut essen und durch die Altstadt schlendern. In Donnalucata kann man im Meer baden, ...
