The front desk clerk was very rude and seemed put out with us being there. I think he was training the serving guy but we politely waited until he was ready for us. When got to us he was speaking quietly and had a very thick accent. We did not know we needed to leave a deposit and he got very irritated when we wanted to use a different card for the deposit as the room was already paid. Any time we went to the lobby, the second guy was just standing there. It was creepy. The hotel has been converted to non smoking but the filter in our room (105) definitely needed to be changed because every time the ac came on it smelled like smoke. We went for breakfast in the lobby and there was no protein. The choices were waffles, cereal or toast. We went to Denny's where Connie and Tony were awesome!! We will not be returning to this property.

The pool and surrounding area needed cleaning. The people who worked there were very attentive. Breakfast area was not very clean. The food left a lot to be desired.

Dog hair on curtains. Stains on sheets. No remote for TV for 3 hours. It's a Roku TV and would require a Roku remote. Duh.Not much of choice for breakfast. The recliner in the room looked ancient and smelled ancient also. Poor internet service and parking lot. Pillows were soft. Would not recommend until major upgrade.

The room was dirty/sticky by the TV, phone and bathroom sink. The pool was so cold my daughter couldn't enjoy it. The breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. I think they put out two pieces of bread and one tiny muffin at a time. There was no batter for waffles, no fruit, no juice, no milk and no yogurt.

Funeral Trip - Expected Better for the Charge!
I arrived and was first given a room on the third floor. When I got off the elevator, I was immediately hit by the smell of cigarette smoking, which permeated the whole floor. I went back down and asked for another room. I was then given a room on the first floor. My new room was about a third of the way down the hall. It was apparent someone further down the hall was smoking because I could smell smoke when I reached my door. It is very obvious that while they advertise 100% no smoking, they don't enforce their policy. My room had issues as well. The light over the sink was not working correctly. It produced only a dim light that could better be described as a night light rather than lighting for shaving or applying makeup. Additionally, the lever for controlling the water flow at the sink had to be placed in an odd position to switch the water off. If it were not set precisely, the water would run. The TV took a lot of work to operate. Finding channels was frustrating because there were huge spaces between them, and the paper guide placed next to the TV had a tiny font, making it difficult to read. For the charge, I would expect a better experience. I won't use this hotel again when I visit St. Charles.

The property would have been okay had there not been roaches crawling on the wall by the 2nd day there. Then upon leaving I was accused of smoking in the room because of a plastic wrap around the smoke detector that I had assumed they put there. The breakfast choice was nothing. Make a waffle, no yogurts, fruits, or even sausage to go along with said waffle. There wasn’t even apple or orange juice to complement. The fitness room is a treadmill in front of a mirror…that’s it. This hotel needs a makeover and better staff.

Not clean and the service was questionable
The place smelled like cigarettes and musty. The sheets seemed dirty. We were not able to use the shower in some of the room because hair clogged the drains and the toilets were like geysers. I will never be staying there again. Canceled my reservation for the second night because it was so bad.

My room smelled like pee. They kept my 50 dollar deposit because k had my pet even though I brought my pet with me to the front desk. They yelled at me! And breakfast was limited no hot food besides waffles! Too expensive for the quality of room and service!

The rooms had cockroaches everywhere! When we went to the front desk to complain they handed us a can of bug spray! One of the rooms had a used condom just lying on the floor! They refused to refund our money. Do not stay here!! Awful and nasty!

Power was out in the first room and the second room had stains on the sheets. Entire place was run down and in need of repair. Staff barely spoke english and was slow, confused, and incompetent.

I wasn't expecting much with this hotel. And boy an I glad I didn't expect much. The hotel doors on the end of the hotel did not open with your key card line they should. The deadbolt on it for did not work. The Wi-Fi only supported one phone at a time. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well. The Jacuzzi tub worked, but was very small. Overall it was average but for the price ($160) I would have liked a little more. I definitely will not be staying there again anytime soon.

I have a disabled child who takes a while to get ready. When i checked in i was told i could have a late check out (Noon) without being charged extra. The day of check out, they came and knocked on the door saying "I needed to get out of the room". This was at 11am. Not to mention that i had to pay $50 when i checked in because they thought i was going to steal there damn towels. I dont recommend this place to stay at.

Place needs help. Find a different option.
Very dated. Halls stank of curry one night and Marijuana the next. Beds are super uncomfortable.....one of the worst ive ever slept on. Pool is closed. No maid service. "Hot breakfast" was gross. The juice was watered down out of the machine and nasty. They did have a waffle machine that was good! Staff sits on the couches just inside the doors on their phones or behind the desk on facetime loud enough for the entire lobby to hear the conversation. Found a silverfish in the room right before we left. Honestly......have your chiropractor on speed dial for when you get home. Yes its value priced but even at that price point it isnt worth it.

This was the most disappointing property in my 40 years of travel. The check in process Took over 15 minutes because the computer and printers weren't working 20 point piece of paper the details of stay. The room itself was dirty and in poor physical condition. The paint was's chips and peeling from the walls. The window curtains we're torn and pulled away from the curtain rods. The linens hand towels had stains on them. The flooring was also torn and frayed. In last they do not perform any maid service during your stay if you need anything you have to go to the front desk.

Phone lines were down all day as we were trying to reach the property our whole trip there. Arrived at property and let the person know there phone lines were down and seemed to not care at all. There were 5 rooms booked total in our group. Our CC was hacked into. There were issues with ALL 5 rooms. Smelled like smoke, Musty, Lights not working, cracked floors and ceilings, no remote control (service desk was contacted and stated someone would take it up in 10 minutes, they never showed), we had a coffee machine in room, but no coffee provided to make/enjoy, towels were dirty, toilet paper used and the list goes on. I wasn't expecting a 5-star hotel but this was not even close to mediocre. Our group plans to return to the area in a few months, but they definitely lost out to repeat customers. What a shame.

Don't stay here
The room had no towels and only a partial roll of toilet paper. I asked the front desk for some when I left the property in the morning and left the sign on the door for service. When I returned at 5 that day, still no towels and no one would answer at the front desk.

such a horrible experience. 1. when we checked in the people at the front desk were rude and unwelcoming. 2. when we got to our room we noticed that there was no remote for the tv so we called them about it. they said theyd be up in 10 mins and they never let us know what was going to be done about it (just a minor inconvenience) 3. hotels should have fresh rolls of toilet paper and tissues for each guest. they didnt. 4. they had a coffee maker but nothing to actually make the coffee at all 5. some of the lights in our room didnt work 6. the walls of the hotel literally looked like they were falling off or coming apart. 7. the breakfast is literally trash. they have a coffee maker but no creamer in the lobby 8. i could go on and on about how horrible this hotel is. i understand its less expensive than others and I shouldnt expect a 5 star hotel out of them but i still didn't expect it to be this bad. literally worst hotel experience of my life.
