«Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!»

«The property is beautifully situated on the edge of a large forested area and the views were spectacular. The property was in excellent shape, as described and we had an excellent stay! Be prepared for bit of a drive from town but well worth it - we would stay here again!»

«We loved this vrbo, it was an authentic Irish cottage. Communication with the host and the local people who help take care of the cottage was great. Timmy the groundskeeper was extremely helpful upon our arrival at the location. Very spaceous, with a large fireplace, full kitchen, washer, dryer. Lots of history and photos of the cottage over the years. Central to Killarney and Dingle. Our favourite!!!»

«Direen cottage provides easy access to both the bustling town of Dingle and the quieter Brandon Bay side of the peninsula. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Janet responded quickly to any questions we had. We hope to visit again someday.»

«I can’t recommend this property enough. It was the most peaceful and comfortable stay. Deirdre and John’s attention to detail in the design and accommodation in the cottage was amazing. We were greeted by 2 sweet dogs and a happy line of cows walking into the pasture. The large bay windows flood the home with light. Deirdre left eggs, milk, fresh bread and jam for us to nibble on for breakfast. She had many wonderful local suggestions. I can’t say enough about the scenery. I highly recommend ...

«The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay.»

«We were very comfortable at this house. We particularly liked that there were things llike chocolate mints, sugar, and other things in the cupboard that made us feel welcomed. The place was a little difficult for us to find using the Sat Nav system on our rental car but we made it. We called our hostess Lorraine once- and she was great to work with- and also stopped over just to check on us. We had to pay separately for WiFi- not a big deal but.. «Ein wunderschönes typisch irisches Haus eingetaucht in atemberaubendem Naturpanorama . Wer Stille und Ursprünglichkeit liebt ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Im Haus herrscht eine sehr private Atmosphäre durch die vielen Bücher und persönlichen Dinge des Gastgebers. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen im Haus. Ein Schlafzimmer befindet sich auf einer Galerie, die eine sehr niedrige Deckenhöhe hat.»

Very welcoming with owners parents next door if we needed anything. It would have been useful to have a signpost to the property as we did get lost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.»

«I was concerned as to why there were no reviews on this place yet, so just wanted to leave one for anyone else who's considering it. This cottage was spotless, with beautiful views. The beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure and hot water (we've stayed at some where that was not the case), host(ess) was so sweet and kind, check in was easy, check-out was easy, it has been updated, so all fresh and new.
