«Black Bear Inn is very inviting and comfortable. Our room was small but adequate; we spent most of our time outside. The breakfasts were top notch and huge. We enjoyed the common house areas playing games and talking with the other guests. The hot tub and decks added to our outdoor enjoyment. We will definitely return. »

«Our stay was superlative. The lodge is beautiful and comfortable and kept immaculate by the hosts. The hosts go out of their way to assure guests of a rewarding experience, sharing stories of their animals, who play a starring role at the lodge, cooking ample and individualized breakfasts, taking guests on scheduled or impromptu tours of their goat, chicken, llama farm. We also enjoyed the greenhouse where many herbs and flowers prosper. Our two days were restful and most enjoyable. »

A little older property, but everything you need such as restaurants, popular bars, grocery store, shopping, ski rentals, location to the gondola and most importantly coffee is within a block or two—really can’t beat the location. The staff was always available and accommodating and the cleaning service was top notch! The only issue we had was the continuous plugging of the toilets and broken bathtub water faucet handle. «Communication and location of property was great, walkable. Loved Lolas diner next to it, and fridge in the room. And next to Steam works brewery. Check in and check out suoer easy. Parking lot easy to find. As someone with bad back the bed was not comfortable; made sleep difficult. This is a common complaint for most hotels I stay at.
