Hotellet var helt supert plassert med kort spasertur til sentrum. Det var et stort og flott hotell, med god service og deilig frokost. Rommet vi fikk var helt ok, litt gammelt og luktet litt rart til tider, men det fungerte helt topp ellers. En ting jeg synes var dumt, og som det sikkert er vanskelig å gjøre noe med, er alle som legger ut håndklær før frokost for å holde av plass, som gjør at når man kommer ned til bassenget etter frokost så er det få plasser igjen. En annen ting; litt flere grønnsaker til frokost :) Savnet litt sunnere alternativer.

Rommet vi fikk var i kjelleren i en annen del av bygget. Det føltes som et annet hotell, og at man gikk i gangen i vaskekjelleren. Utsikten var ca 10 m rett mot en fjellvegg. Ingen lys eller sol. Rommet var skuffene, og så ut som en lagerbygning malt i gult, og satt inn senger. Sengene var dog gode, og badet var fint.

Stort og noe utdatert hotell i utkanten av Sorrento. FIn utsikt og hageområde, men dårlig mattilbud. Kjedelige rom.

Great hotel in Sorrento.
We spent 5 nights at the Hilton Sorrento Palace. An excellent hotel with great facilities, great location and great staff. At all points during our stay, we felt very well taken care of and the staff was all helpfull and nice. Sorrento is also a great area!!!

Fint hotell om enn litt lytt
Fint hotell med flott bassengområde, restaurant, frokostsal og veldig hyggelig betjening som snakket godt engelsk og gjorde sitt beste når noe gikk galt. Litt minus for at det er veldig lytt både mellom rommene og fra gangen. For nordmenn som er glad i å gå var det en flott tur opp til en landsby på høyden rett bak hotellet. Ned til sentrum er det et lite stykke å gå også, men hotellet ordner transport om man har behov. Maten ved bassenget var veldig god da vi var der. Fikk en av de bedre pizzaene der på hele oppholdet. Rommene med utsikt ser virkelig utover byen og kysten, men prisen var kanskje ikke verdt det når man liksegreit kan sitte på restauranten terrasse og se vel så mye.

Hilton Sorrento Palace er en underlig og ikke helt vellykket blanding av forretningshotell og resort som ligger helt opp i åssiden øverst i Sorrento. Det er ganske pompøst og amerikansk i stilen. Rommene er svære og rene. For ferierende begrenser fasilitetene seg til et ganske bra basseng og et helt greit treningsrom. Hotellet har også et par restauranter og en bar. Frokosten er overaskende god med mulighet for å bestille crêpes og egg slik du ønsker dem hvis du er villig til å stå litt i kø.

Ok, but dated
The hotel is nice, but the room was somewhat dated. Also, I missed having a coffeemaker in the room. The minibar only had mineral water. The selection in the restaurant was minimal, with only a couple of main courses on the menu. The area, however, is really nice, and one can find many nice restaurants in the center of Sorrento!

Fantastisk oase i Napolibukten
Bodde åtte netter på et nydelig rom i de øvre etasjer, med utsikt mot Vesuv og tilgang til executive lounge. Hadde et meget bra opphold! Loungen hadde en fin, rolig og avslappet atmosfære, og utvalget av snacks og drikkevarer var meget bra. Egen solterasse og basseng, samt et eget uteområde i skyggen perfekt på den varmeste tiden midt på dagen. Loungen kan absolutt anbefales! På minussiden: renholdet av rommet er ikke på nivå med hotellets øvrige fasiliteter, samt at du sjelden får et smil at hotellets personale før du har gitt dem penger.... Men alt i alt; hotellet kan anbefales på det sterkeste!

Italia sett fra Amerika
Vi fikk et greit rom med flott utsikt, men hotellet var stort og upersonlig og sterkt farget av et utenfra-blikk på Italia. Ingenting manglet ved frokosten bortsett fra en opplevelse av at det var hyggelig. Den gode utsikten skyldtes selvfølgelig at det lå litt oppe i åsen for seg selv, og det bidro til at dette var et annet møte med Italia.

Flott, stort hotell med gode fasiliteter. Veldig bra bassengområde, fin tertassebar med strålende utsikt over Sorrento. Litt utenfor sentrum, men ikke verre enn at man går på 10 minutter. Dyr internettilgang, som i tillegg var treg ug ustabil er eneste minus

Moderne hotell, beliggende i gåavstand fra sentrum. Flott bassengområde, og restaurant/cafe område. Vennlig service, store rom (vi bestilte et dobbeltrom med king size seng). Vi var veldig fornøyde med vårt opphold.

Fine rom med terrasse i et åpent luftig og vakkert hotell med utsikt over Napolibukten. Vi hadde rom som vendte mot fjellside ved hotellets inngangsparti men vil anbefale å få rom med utsikt mot Napolibukten. Hotellet hadde avtale med et hotell ved havkanten hvor en kunne benytte deres pir om man ønsket å bade i havet. Å bade fra den piren kan anbefales. Ca en times biltur for å komme seg til Pompei, Napoli eller andre retningen langs Amalfitankysten,

The hotel is incredible, for its beauty and spacious areas. Beautiful decoration, looks like new. Flowers bouquets everywhere. Music at night. A lot of areas to enjoy and relax. 12 min walking to the center a lo of nice restaurants at city center. But if you want to relax there is a really nice pool area with a bar.

Not worth the money. We stayed here in February in the renovated area and it was amazing. This time it was really bad and too expensive for what we received. We will not return.

Disappointing
Quite expensive hotel with none of the services expected at this price level. The room was old and there was black mold in the bathroom. The breakfast was disappointing and tasteless. They had a conference and the people made a lot of noise, which lead to 2 sleepless nights without any proper apology or anything from the hotel. The driver to the airport was also quite overpriced for the service. All in all disappointing. This what definitely not worth the money.

Front desk service were not nice, not helpful at all, the rooms were not being clean on a daily basis. When we asked for a taxi they sent us with someone that charged us 300 euros and even made stops for him without stopping the meter, took routes that were not main routes to charge us more. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

It was too far from shopping, the pool was ice cold, they controlled the air conditioning in your room from the front desk, the room was so warm and uncomfortable. I complained once, nothing was done, I complained a second time and they turned it up. Would I stay here again, no.

Good but not great!
First of all, this is a Hilton hotel so there is a level of expectancy you expect. The hotel was great in places however it looked a bit dated…There was also some confusion about the type of room that I had booked. I was pretty sure my booking was for a garden view or similar but the actual view was a rock face…

Wonderful location for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Nice to have restaurants at the hotel. Coffee in the morning could be better. Pool was tons of fun. Noisy hallways at night.

Bon hôtel, chambre et sdb spacieuses, vue sur le Vésuve, excellent petit-déjeuner très varié, resto Agrumeto agréable. L’extérieur de l’hôtel fait un peu bunker et mériterait d’être repeint.

Good Family Hotel near Sorrento center
Nice resort near center of Sorrento, perfect for families or groups of people. Outstanding views, large rooms, great pool. The morning breakfast buffet was of good quality and plentiful. Grounds are clean and well kept. Front desk and bell staff friendly and helpful. The Asian restaurant (if you need an alternative to all the great Italian meals in town) is excellent both in food quality and service. A few minor annoyances at the hotel such as being strict with pool towel cards to get a towel at the pool, but overall was a very nice option.
