Supert hotell med tilgang til 'strand'
Veldig greit hotell, sentral beliggenhet (5-10 min å gå til sentrum) i forholdsvis rolig gate. Litt trafikk utenfor, men hørte ingenting når vinduene var lukket. Flott frokost med veldig godt utvalg. Fint rom med balkong med utsikt mot sjøen. 2 bassenger, 1 på taket og 1 nede. Hotellets gjester har også tilgang til solsenger ved sjøen på et av de andre hotellene i samme kjede. Vi var veldig fornøyd med oppholdet og tror nok vi kommer til å bo på samme hotell hvis vi reiser til Sorrento igjen. Og det gjør vi nok.

Helt OK for et 4**** i Italia
Hotellet er helt ok, men bærer preg av og ha hatt sin storhetstid på 80/90-tallet. Noe skuffet over vennlighet på resepsjonpersonalet. Frokosten er god og redningen er "stranden" (eller bryggen) som gjestene kan bruke fritt på nærliggende hotell (Grand Hotel Royal). Sterk anbefaling å oppgradere rommet til havutsikt. Fantastisk utsikt fra takterrassen. Sorrento er en koselig by med overflod av nydelig, rimelig mat og bra shopping mtp størrelsen. Vi var på jentetur og syns det ble litt vel stille og rolig. Et helt klart familie -og/eller kjærestested.

Sentralt i Sorrento.
Meget god standard, serviceinnstilt personale, kort vei til sentrum og bad. Fantastisk bar med svømmebasseng på taket av hotellet med urtolig utsikt mot Vesuv. God frokost men benyttet ikke resturanten forøvrig.

Godt egnet feriehotell
Beliggenhet bra sett opp mot sentrum, buss,tog. Litt gammeldags og slitt innredning i bar og stuer. Rommene var meget bra. Betjeningen meget hjelpsomme mht leie av bil og utflukter. Vi spiste kun frokost som var bra. Et hotell med godt voksne gjester.

Sjarmerende hotell med super toppetasje!
Dette hotellet anbefales! Personalet var veldig hjelpsomme og maten var god (men litt dyr). Det beste var solsenger og massasjebasseng på takterrassen som kom godt med i varmen.

Fantastic hotel just 5 minutes walk from Sorrento city centre. If you get a room at the front you will have a fantastic view over to Vesuve Vulcano. The rooms are big, elegant and newly decorated and kept very clean. The staff at the hotel are so welcoming and service-minded that you will feel you are staying at an hotel in Thailand rather than in Italy, beacause they are always smiling and very service-minded. Two very nice pool areas, one more for adults and one for children. Very nice breakfast-area outside. The only drawback is the food, it is ok, but nothing special, and to expensive for the quality, so eat in one of the nice reastaurants down town instead. Overall a very good hotel, good value for money!

Staff were outstanding. They did everything possible to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Conveniently located minutes from the Main Street which has shopping and restaurants. Very close to the local train station and bus terminal for tours. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I recently spent one week at the Grand Hotel De La Ville. It was just amazing..everything about the hotel including the wonderful people who work there was more than we could have imagined. Spent 9 nights at Grand Hotel de La Ville. Highly recommend this location when visiting Sorrento. From the pleasant, helpful, attentive staff, to the lovely rooftop pool and bar area where the view is amazing! I can’t say enough about the food in the main dining hall as well as the entertainment, while I was there. The location is close to everything in Sorrento! Truly loved my stay!

As soon as we walked into the lobby the staff greeted us and made us feel welcome. They saw it was my husband’s birthday and made sure to acknowledge this event. This continued throughout our stay!! The experience was 5 star.

The whole experience was fantastic! The hotel is lovely, the staff are amazing. Erica & the bell hop were extremely helpful & friendly. The hotel is close walking distance to everything we wanted to see & do. One suggestion I have is to keep the pools opened later at night. Thank you for everything. We will return!

The front desk service was terrible! We just came from Rome, very tired after 6 hour trip and the clerk made us to stay in the hall for half an hour!!! Also, our son was staying in the different hotel with the football team. When he stopped by to see us, the concierge did not allow him to go on elevator to visit our room??? The excuse given - he is not a guest of hotel. In my traveling to Europe I stayed in many five stars properties, and NEVER heard about the child cannot visit his parents in the room ruling?!

Grand Hotel De La Ville in beautiful Sorrento!
Grand Hotel De La Ville was more than what we expected. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the main shops and a 2 minute walk to a catholic church, for those who go to mass. The hotel was beautiful and spotless, with very friendly staff. The room we had was huge, the bed very comfortable and the washroom very roomy! You could wash clothes and hand them to try in the washroom. The cleaners were thorough and it is the first hotel we have stayed in in Italy, where the cleaners were amazing! The buffet breakfast was very good, with lots of options and so far, the best coffee for us. The grounds were impecable and beautiful, with a nice bar and seating area for evening drinks and food options. This hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, we did not have lunch or dinner there, but did order some food with our drinks one evening, which was handy and the food good. They also have a pool on the roof, with several lounge chairs and umbrellas. The Grand Hotel de la Ville is directly across the street from a lemon orchard, that you can walk through for free; it's quite impressive. Please note that this hotel closes this year mid-November, so we were lucky to stay there. It was worth every penny! Sorrento was our favourite place to visit!!

Was a beautiful hotel with lots of space for relaxing both indoors and out. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking a lemon grove & the sea. Lots of breakfast choices and a lovely bar to have cocktails. Walking distance to the main area however out of the tourist centre.

This is a beautiful hotel- The ambiance alone plus the decor are reasons to visit. We had dinner there and it was incredible. We felt as though we had been transported back in time to the 1959’s- out of the Sophia Lauren movie. This is an experience not to miss!!

This is a lovely 4 star hotel. Great location about two blocks out of Tasso and short walk from the train station. We were there in early October, 2023. We stayed 5 nights, which was plenty of time to explore Sorrento and area towns. The hotel arranged for a driver to take us to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. A & P extremely crowded, but Giovanni dropped us at good entry points. Ravello not anywhere as nearly crowded, with nice cafes on the main square. Room was good sized, over the "garden", so no sea view but nice little balcony. The pool deck on the roof is spectacular, with views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. Breakfast buffet typical but very good and fresh. Omelet/eggs prepped fresh as ordered. Crowd seemed mostly American. Shout out to Alessandro, the barman in the bar off the hotel lobby and on the pool deck. Always working, courteous, and attentive. Same can be said for entire staff. We'd definitely stay here again. This was our favorite hotel throughout our stay in Italy! The room was super clean and we had a large private balcony. The top floor with the pool was amazing. All of the staff members were amazing! Breakfast each morning was also great!

It was great having a balcony in our room and we used it every morning with a view. The coffee was the best we had our entire stay in Italy and the breakfast is worth every dime. Most of the staff was very helpful and accomadating but a few were a bit rude and snarky- the others made up for it though.

Wonderful, solid 4 star hotel w many amenities (2 pools, late night food menu options, very good breakfast buffet) and caring/ cheerful staff. Would recommend for location (easy walk w suitcases to and from main bus and train station), atmosphere and location (quiet at night and 5 minutes from city center). Views from the seaward side rooms are awesome and Mt Vesuvius looks great. Rooms are spacious, well decorated, clean and beds are super comfy.

Beautiful, upscale hotel and grounds. Our room had a balcony facing the sea. Breakfasts were amazing, rooftop bar is a must for sunsets, and rooms are exquisite. Location is about a 10-minute walk to the main piazza of this part of Sorrento.
