Vi ble veldig fornøyd og overasket når vi kom til rommet vårt fordi vi fikk et romslig familierom. Det var perfekt for datteren min som er rullestolbruker. Ansatte var hjelpsomme og servicen var god. Kommer gjerne tilbake.☺

Nytt og fint men dårlig service
Hotellet er nytt og fint og man kan velge mellom å bo langs strandpromenaden i Naama Bay eller litt lengre opp på andre siden av veien. Vi følte imidlertid at de ansatte var lite oppmerksomme og at servicen var veldig treg, spesielt på serveringsstedene langs bassengene og på stranda. De virket rett og slett uinteresserte i gjestene og brukte veldig lang tid på å komme med bestillingene. Dette ødelegger for helhetsopplevelsen av hotellet som med sin beliggenhet og standard har potensiale til å score mye høyere på "fornøydhetsskalaen".

Lekkert sted
Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold. Så og si alt var bra der. Synes madrassene var litt harde. Hotellrommene kunne sikkert blitt vasket bedre mens vi var der, men det var rent og pent da vi kom. Hotellet er finere enn det ser ut på bildene. Det er delt i to med en vei mellom. Nærmest stranden lå Novotel Beach, og på andre siden av veien het det Novotel Palm. Vi bodde på Palm. Palm er som en landsby. Det var fin hage der, med mange små "rekkehus" med rom. Rommene var store og bestod av bad, separat toalett, seng, sofa, bord, tv, stort klesskap, safe og skrivepult. På Palm-hotellområdet var det tre bassenger, en bassengbar og spisesal. For å komme til Beach-delen måtte man som sagt over en vei. Der var det en hotellansatt som stoppet trafikken hver gang noen skulle over (stod der så og si hele døgnet). Kjempebra service:) På Beach-delen var det et basseng, en bar og restauranter. Hotellets Beach-del inneholdt selvfølgelig den private stranden. Jeg synes det var finest på Palm. Når man skulle inn til Naama Bay-sentrum kunne man gå "Pedestrian street". Det var noen minutter å gå til sentrum, men tok aldri tiden. Det var så koselig å gå der, vi ikke tenkte på tiden. Servicen var veldig bra, med hyggelige ansatte. Det var høy sikkerhet der, med vakter både dag og natt. Frokosten var god og hadde et greit utvalg. De stekte omeletter mens vi ventet (vi valgte selv innhold). De hadde også veldig mange gode kaker:) Det var gratis Wi-fi ved bassengene på begge sider.

Fantastisk service
Supert hotell til en fornuftig pris, og med topp beliggenhet på strandprominaden. Bare en kort spasertur (5 min) unna restauranter, barer og shopping, uten at dette påvirker roen (og støynivået) på hotellet.

Etter å ha bodd på andre siden av veien fikk vi bestit rom nede ved stranden. Her er rommene en del eldre og har ikke samme standarden - men er helt ok (ikke 5 stjerners). Mygg er et utbredt problem, og hver ettermiddag ble hotellområdet røyklagt. Jeg tør ikke tenke på hva som var i denne røyken, og det trekker inn på rommene. Myggproblemet var likevel intenst, så bruk spray og beskyttelse. Kort vei til restauranter og butikker. Fin strand med fantastisk snorkling bare to meter fra land. Slitsomme "spa-selgere" på stranden - og de tilhørte hotellet.... Greit renhold og bra frokost.

Pass på hvor du havner
Her er Hotels.com upresise i sin beskrivelse av hotellet. Vi ønsket et rom som lå nært stranden, og slik vi forsto beskrivelsen på hotels.com så lå Novotel ved stranden. Det viste seg da at Novotel egentlig er to hoteller - ett ligger ved stranden (beachwing), og det andre ligger på andre siden av hovedveien i fjellskråningen (palmwing) - så vær bevisst på hvor du ønsker å være. Dette medførte at vi måtte traske opp flere bakker for å komme til vårt rom - ikke helt som forventet. Anlegget er nybygd og rommene er fine. Ikke så koselig da at balkongene har overbygg som er fine for duene å sitte på - dueskitt er tydeligvis ikke en prioritert del av roomservice. Jeg forventer også at man slipper å bruke bøtte til toalettpapiret på et 5 stjernes hotell. God frokost, vennlig betjening.

Hotel da ristrutturare (è già in fase di). La zona Palm preferirei fosse meglio illuminata in particola modo il ristorante (luce calda, lampade alte e poco potenti) quindi ristorante buio e poco accogliente. Personale molto gentile. Pulizia delle stanze da migliorare sensibilmente.

For family trip
We stayed in palm wings side. There was clean and peaceful,but it was far away from the sea and dinner restaurant. However, the beach side had some construct process, crowded and too loudly. I did not reccomend beach side for families. WiFi was a big problem because it did not work even palm wings lobi during the holiday. Also breakfast was not good enough, we ate same things every single days. Dinner was beter than breakfast but it was not sufficient.

Bad service not worth the money
Never had a horrible experience like this before. 1. I bought an all inclusive rate the receptionist told me alcohol is not included unless I pay more. The receptionist tried to make me pay more saying i made a mistake in the booking. 2. The staff doesn’t speak any language not English not Russian not anything, my son who only speaks english had a hard time getting ‘water’ from the bar because the bartender doesn’t know what the word ‘water’ means. 3. Cheap food not open buffet, no variety. & borderline rude restaurant staff. 4. If you buy the all inclusive you have to cross the street to get to the restaurant where lunch & dinner are. If you do NOT buy the all inclusive rate, you will have the restaurants right in the same building. 5. I stayed in 3 stars hotels & resorts & got better service & amenities than this ‘5 star’ hotel. 6. Management & staff are a bigger problem than the old facilities of this hotel. 7. On the way to get to the restaurant staff cut tree branches & put it in your way or the path will be full of mud from watering the plants no common sense. I do not recommend staying there. I thought Accor hotels may have better standards than the rest but my stay there will have me stay away from this chain all together.

Das Frühstücksbuffet wahr ziemlich entäuschend, fast keine frische Früchte, Geschirr nicht sauber… Die Matratze wahr in einem unmöglichen zustand, mussten sie uns wechseln. Am Pool zu viel Musik, alle mit eigener Soundanlage. Extrem laut auch am Strand. Also zum erholen und ruhe geniessen nichts. Wifi ist nur bei Reception und Pool. Personal war dafür sehr nett und nach den reklamationen haben sie alles sehr gut gemacht.

Novotel palm wing is disappointing as you have to cross the road to other Novotel to do anything like breakfast or access the beach. This is not obvious when booking the room. Also there is hardly any staff for room service.

Bad WiFi connection keeps disconnecting and most of the time no WiFi in room at checkout they tried to rip me off saying there are fees on the room even though i paid everything online during reservation

This was a very bad experience with a very bad stuff. The stuff don't smile to the guest. It was a terrible property. I don't recommend it to anyone in sharm. There is too many properties better than it like stella di mare .

I liked the location of the hotel and facilities, I did not like the air condition was not cool enough. the check-in was too long. there was no WIFI in the room and in reception area the internet was too slow.

A bit tired. Good location. Way too noisy
I stayed on the beach side which was well located. You can walk to Naama town centre in 10 minutes. The property is showing its age though. The furnishings and rooms are tired. No USB ports and only a couple of single sockets mean that is not very gadget friendly. The WiFi was hit and miss. The main issue is the constant noise from competing restaurants. Common sense should dictate that if the animation is blasting then the beach restaurant should turn it's music off or down. There is no where that is designated as a quiet area and that's a problem for people like me. The food was basic but fine. Overall an OK stay but expensive for what you get and especially considering that Russians and Ukrainians seem to pay nothing money for the same rooms on an AI basis. I worked out I was paying double for B&B, which is irritating.
