«We had the most wonderful time at Stekkar Lodge. The photos really do not do it justice. The views are breathtaking! The lodge is very well appointed, and the hot tub is incredible. We loved having two separate spaces for the two families that were traveling together. Jon’s communication was flawless, and made everything a breeze. We would LOVE to stay here again.»

«We have been guests at the Afternoon Cottages twice. We stayed in #4 the first time and #5 the second time. They are mirror images of each other. Everything was clean and the location is perfect for seeing the Aurora as long as the sky is clear. Communication with the property manager was easy and effortless and on our first stay we even extended it by a day. I highly recommend the Afternoon Cottages.»

«Die Brekka Lodge ist wunderschön gelegen und hat einen herrlichen Ausblick über den Fjord. Auch die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr gemütlich und die Einrichtung bietet alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Wir haben hier den Jahreswechsel verbracht und hatten das Glück, an zwei Abenden Polarlichter sehen zu können - perfekt. Auch für Ausflüge ist die Lage ideal. Der Vermieter Jon Baldur war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor der Reise haben wir zur Einstimmung jede Menge ...

«We stayed five nights in April 2024. We were treated to the Northern Lights our first night. The house is spacious, clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable. It sleeps ten in beds. The area is super quiet. The hot tub is pristine. The host was great and had good documents. The trash/recycling system could be a little more well documented. We did the golden circle, two hot springs and the southern beaches (where we saw Puffins!) Great stay, thanks so much!»

«So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. The only downside is there was very limited hot water. My wife used it all up in a not very long shower. »

«Upon arrival, we were impressed by the beautiful landscapes. The cabin itself was clean and modern. From the central space, one window offered a view of Icelandic horses. The other was nearly floor to ceiling where we caught sight of the Northern Lights. Renate was quick to respond and help us when we reached out. «The property was in a quiet area with a beautiful view. The interior of the cabin was cozy and warm while the outside was winter winter. The isolated set of cabins are located near a pretty well equipped town, close to the Golden circle and all of its attractions, and far enough out that it gets nice and dark at night if you want to see the Northern lights. There is a food court with six stands a short drive from the cabin, many other options in the small town, and it is close to Selfoss which ...

«Perfect location for our first trip to Iceland for our exploration of Southern Iceland. Honestly cannot think of a thing that we needed that wasn't provided. If I had a wish list, it would have been nice to have an extra bathroom but we made it work just fine. I would highly recommend.»

«I really liked to stay at Klettar tower. It was modern, clean and cozy. The bathroom was really nice, soap and towels included. The room had a small kitchenette with a fridge and utensils. The area was quiet, with some horses nearby and a cute dog that came for a cuddle once in a while. We met the friendly and helpful owner a couple of times. We rented a car while in Iceland, and sights like Thingvellir, Reykjadalur and the geysir were in a reasonable driving distance. »
