«This place was incredible! From the deck you could see Swan Lake, the Olympics, the Salish Sea, Canada, and the San Juan Islands. There were tons of Eagles and Herons all over the place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I recommend it for ANYONE!»

«We enjoyed our stay here. You can tell there is a lot of love that goes into maintaining the house and the gardens. The gardens were especially lovely with everything starting to bloom. One thing I would suggest is more night lighting, especially around the stairs in the master bedroom and living room. My mom (age 77) took a tumble (she was OK!) because she missed the stair leading down into the bedroom and I think some extra night lighting around the stair area would have helped with that.»

«Our group of six (teen, YA, in-laws, husband and me) enjoyed our stay at the North Shore Retreat. It's centrally located for easy exploring of all parts of the island-- from Doe Bay and Obstruction Pass to Deer Harbor. We loved the garden setting. «Super sweet views of the water, islands, & sky. Very nice private beach, and peaceful setting. The kitchen is well equipped. Bed was comfortable, couch and chairs were comfortable. The code to the door didn’t work, and after trying it numerous times, we texted Vacasa and they responded with a different code for the lock box which got us in with a key. The light above the stove, under the microwave was burned out, so cooking was dimly lit. I’m sure they will replace the bulb tho. The coffee ...

«Great last minute spring break trip. Nice to have the hot tub and fire pit under cover so there were rainy day activities. Beach access is really just for smal boats/kayaks. Nice local coffee was a cozy touch.»

«This is an amazing cottage in a great neighborhood. Everything was very clean, extremely comfortable and wonderfully equipped. We walked down to the water to watch the sunsets and even saw a fox cross the road and six deer in the yard. We'll definitely be back.»

«This place exudes peace and tranquility! It’s so quiet and beautiful, yet close to town and lots of hiking trails. We loved seeing sea otters and bald eagles frolic outside from the warmth of the living room.»

«Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.»

«This house is perfect for a couple or family. Two bedrooms with queen beds and the softest sheets and comforter. A full sized kitchen and family, facing the bay. A beautiful deck with bbq and comfortable seating. There’s a separate structure/studio which has a queen sized bed and heated flooring. The grounds are beautifully kept with extra sitting areas. Highly recommend, will go back again!»
