Pros are that it's cheap and not too far away from the Vatican State or the city center of Rome, the room (the cheapest bungalow) had an okay size for two people with decent beds and a good sized shower, nice pool with two bublebaths in the commonarea, they offer a shuttlebus to the airport but you need to book it two days before you need it. Cons are that the public transportsystem in Rome is really something for itself, be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting for the bus from the camping! Another con is that in the cheap bungalows, you have two rooms in one tiny building and when your neighbor turns around in the bed or shuts their door the entire thing shakes, and they are not very soundproof either. If you and your neighbor showers at the same time it's a lucky guess what watertemperature you'll get. The restaurant at the hotel has a medium menu, but the only thing they really can make there is pizza sadly enough. On the website I booked our stay it said that breakfast would be 1.50€ per person each day, it actually was 7.40€ and with a bad selection (Italians are appearantly not breakfast people) so we bought our food at the supermarket across the street instead. You get two towels for your room, you get two more for free if your stay is over five days (2€ per towel beyond that), and your bedsheets won't be replaced either. Our bungalow was filled with ants on top of all this. The staff was nice enough, depends on who you meet!

This is my second trip with my family. We stayed for a week.The reception is excellent. WIFI is very poor. It is the age of communication. It has to be improved. I expected them to clean the room and change sheets minst every three days but it is not.

A nice hotel inside Rome.
The hotel has good facilities. The chalets are good cabins for a family with a kitchen and double bathroom. With good air conditioning. A crowded camping village but no disturbing noises.

Lite og lytt, men rent og nær flyplassen.
Vanskelig å komme seg til sentrum! Busstoppet ved campingen var stengt, måtte gå langt (og langs 4-felts vei) for å komme til neste busstopp. Ikke særlig hyggelig med to små barn! Ingen info om dette på forhånd, fikk beskjed om at det var busstopp like ved campingen. Bitte små bungalower, men rent og helt ok når man bare trenger et sted å sove. Nær flyplassen (FCO) er et pluss.

Bra opphold for en billig penge!
Selv om bungalowen ikke er typisk 5 stjerners, er likevel totalpakken på camp villiage rome meget bra med bassengområdet, restaurant og flotte sanitær bygg mm. Det meste av transport til flypl og roma er tilgjengelig og "campingen" er behjelpelig med det meste! Vi hadde det kjempe bra her!

Super campingplass
Jeg fikk ett godt inntrykk av Camping Village Roma. Kjempefint område med en liten butikk, resurant/bar, basseng og fint uteområde. Jeg bodde i en bungalow, ikke akkurat luksus, men helt ok standard og ren. Stedet passer bra for både barnefamilier og backpackere. Det eneste som jeg følte trakk ned var beliggenheten, jeg var fullt klar over at det lå litt unna byen, men jeg fant det litt trøblete å komme seg til og fra byen, med bruk av kollektivtrafikken. Det gikk mange busser, men det er ikke alltid så lett å ta buss når man ikke er kjent. Ellers et supert og billig sted som jeg kan anbefale, jeg følte jeg fikk mye for pengene.

It was really pretty, exactly as pictures. The only thing it lowkey bugged me, they dont help you at all with your bags, you could be walking up the hill with 3 bags on you and they wont help. Despite that, its lovely, comfortable, really clean and a different experience.

Häuser waren sehr sauber. Insgesamt wird die Unterkunft gut gepflegt. Leider war der Pool sehr kalt, genau wie die Whirlpools. Whirlpools müssen warm sein! Für ältere Kinder könnte insgesamt mehr geboten werden. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Spielplatz für Kleinkinder. Sportanalage mit Tischtennis, Minigolf, Kletterpark wäre toll. Trotzdem ist das Ambiente sehr schön: alles ist sehr schön bepflanzt, Personal ist freundlich, Kaffee, Bar, Restaurant ist gut. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt dort.

Sehr schöne Anlage. Rom ist super mit Bus und Metro zu erreichen. Leider sind die Öffnungszeiten vom Pool nicht schön. Wenn man die Stadt besucht und dann zum baden mochte ist das nicht moglich.

There’s a bus stop right next to the site which is very useful for those who wish to use the public transport (bus, train and metro). Staff members were helpful and ready to offer advices. Landry room, restaurant and the camping site’s little market were also very practical.

Very nice chalet, comfortably accommodated 5 adults. Felt very safe as there was security at the front entrance as well as driving around at times. It’s right next to a grocery store as well as a McDonald’s which came in handy. Over all it’s a great place stay if your coming to Rome.

the property was nice. it looked good and was comfortable for me. there was an issue with a blocked sink when I arrived. someone came quicly and it was resolved in 5 minutes. There was also a few stains on one of the beds, I later had an issue with an ant infestation. again, someone came quickly, the only downside was they didn't clean the area after spraying the ants, I did. The area was clean around the property, the main road was not to close to where i was staying. sadly, there was little evening entertainment. one bar and a restaurant, with set opening times. Most of the day they were not available. There was a small shop on site, but again, set opening times and an early close in the evenings. I found I was bored quite often. There was a supermarket across the road and a steakhouse with great food and a bar. There was a garage/petrol/gas station as well. Other than that there was little else around. The reception was right down at the enterance, there was no information point further in the site. The room could have done with a glass and some basic cutlery. I had breakfast there one morning and couldn't cut the watermelon, or pour a glass of water. Also when the bins were full in the room, I wasn't sure if I was meant to take them to be emptied or if someone came round to do it, I did it in the end. There were some comunication issues and they didn't always understand the english. Overall it was a nice place, not sure I would stay there again though.

Sehr schöner moderne Campingplatz am Stadtrand Roms. Bis zum Kolosseum circa 45 Minuten mit Bus und Bahn. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und alles wirkte neu. Lediglich ein Kühlschrank und Fernseher waren nicht vorhanden. Das war aber nicht weiter schlimm.

We got what we paid for at Hu Roma. The space was exactly what we needed, but we only received two towels and there were no sheets or pillowcases for the chair that turned into a bed even though we specified we had 3 people. It is a bit far from the city, but normal workday hours had plenty of transportation to and from the city center. The pool was only open 10am-5pm which was inconvenient traveling from out of town since we were sightseeing during those hours each day. The restaurant was nice and decently priced! Staff were friendly and the grounds were very clean and safe. We had a good experience but there were a few inconveniences.

Generally nice environment. Easy to get to town but wifi connection isn’t so good. No lift to the accommodation, have to climb four flights of stairs with heavy luggage.

I liked the style of the property but I could hear the neighbours and everything outside through the walls. There was no proper insulation. You need golf carts to take the vistors to their respective rooms especially if they are of old age and cannot walk the whole way. This should not be a privilige

The check in process took a while since people all arrived at the same time and there was no order to who went next because the machine was broken to take a number. After getting checked in everything was great. The room was all we needed and we were only a quick bus and metro ride away from everything in Rome.

What a fun and for us a somewhat unique place , (camping in downtown Rome). Nicely organized, more than adequate restaurant, (we had breakfast every morning and found it quite satisfactory). Good location, with a supermarket right across the way. A special call out to Rubin, Matar and Greta for all their help and kindness! Not a ton of amenities but a different and enjoyable place to stay.

Il nostro bungalow era umidissimo e rovinato nei dettagli. Il terzo letto mai preparato per cui, all'ennesimo sollecito, ci hanno portato le lenzuola. Molto mal collegato.costo elevato rispetto al servizio offerto. Ragazza alla reception non capiva bene italiano e nn molto efficiente
