Thank you for staying. We do not advertise that there is a mini fridge or microwave in the room. There is a guest refrigerator. We only have rules regarding smoking and ask people not take breakfast dishes away from the house, porch and deck.

We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay. We endeavor to make all of guests happy. We're happy that you liked the rooms though. However, some of your statements are inaccurate. When you arrived we told you that there was no in-stay housekeeping but if you needed anything, including fresh towels, to just ask and we would provide them. This is an ongoing precaution due to COVID-19. Do you change your sheets and towels more often than every 4 days at home? As to noise, we ask that noise be kept to a minimum with all children as it's a small house and we don't want any of our guests to be disturbed. We have had some very bad experiences with children and noise in the past and have had to change our child policy as a result. Your sons were very nice and well behaved and we enjoyed having them here. We are always around because we live here and we don't feel that we are being 'intrusive', just vigilant. Your family was happy enough to have an innkeeper around to heat up your leftovers. Guests are welcome to eat as much as they like at breakfast. At breakfast there is plenty of fruit for all of our guests, not just for 2-3, and we refill as necessary throughout breakfast. We very rarely run out of fruit because we serve 6 different kinds. Rockport is a casual town and there is no need to dress up. However, if you feel the need to do so that's your privilege and we would never presume to tell you or anyone else how to dress. The iron comment was in jest as you were the first to ask for an iron in quite some time. Perhaps you left your sense of humor at home on this trip. You may view us as inhospitable but the vast majority of our guests would be quick to disagree with you, many of them repeat guests. If you return to Rockport, perhaps one of the town's other accommodations will meet your high expectations. Just know that it will be at a much higher cost.

Not quite sure why you're complaining. You showed up before breakfast was even over, a good hour before checkout time and 4 hours before check-in expecting your room to be ready. Despite this, my husband treated you politely, allowed you to park in our lot, made getting your room ready a priority and called you when it was ready. Not sure what else he could have done to make you feel more welcome. You had a 'nice stay', your room was 'extremely clean' and you had a 'delicious' breakfast. Again, not sure what you're complaining about. Perhaps the next time you stay at a B&B you'll know better than to show up so early so as to prevent any awkwardness.

How sad that you felt it necessary to take your anger, over being politely asked to move the bed in your room back to its original place before leaving, out on us with a 4/10 rating. A furniture move that was made without asking permission, we might add. However, we do thank you for moving it back.
