The property location was great. Our room was nice- great bed/pillows. The back balcony was really nice to sit back and relax at. Very helpful- we went to the office and they gave us a couple dinner suggestions.

Location is everything.
Location, location, location. Amazing views and sound of ocean. Walk to shops and food. The positives: Excellent location and good service and clean. But beds and soft and pillows are like rocks, walls thin and neighbors kept us up with their talking on the porch, plastic cups and mediocre coffee amenities. Overall very average - u pay for the location.

Hello,Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. However, we are disapointed you did not love your stay. Our service, location, and cleanliness are among our top priorities for a guest stay, so I am glad we provided you with that.Mattress are very subjective. We have some guests who love our mattresses and ask for the brand to buy themselves, and we have some who prefer a firmer mattress. That being said, our mattress are less than 3 years old. We have gone through two different types of pillows over the last few years, because like mattresses they are subjective. We are waiting on an order for for new pillows to give guests two different pillow types options in each room.As for coffee, we provide standard hotel coffee making supplies including regular, decaf, English breakfast, green tea, and condiment kits.

This is the most beautiful location you could stay at. Adorable local area. Very walkable. Easy parking and check in. Very very clean. Have coffee on the porch. Watch the sunset from bed over the water. Swim in the ocean at the beach a 7 minute walk away. Perfection.

My stay was great! Though both my daughter and I had knee issues, we preferred the top floor and to be at the end was another bonus. I had one issue and that was answered positively, immediately. That kind of service is often hard to come by.

Great location! Right near all of the shops. And the shops are fun, general small spaces run by the local artists. Great area to walk around. Parking right at the Lodge was good. We took the small room (1 queen bed) and initially it did feel a bit tight, but once we figured it out it was fine and fit our needs. The staff was great and very helpful with everything. Room was ready in advance so we could go right in.

You stayed in the petite queen room, which is a smaller room, but still ocean front with all the same amenities. We do have 7 larger rooms if you would prefer more space next time.Sincerely,Krystle

Location, Location .....
You can not beat the view and find a better location if you wish to have the whole village in a moments walk out your door! The rooms which you might expect to be old school Motor Lodge(y) have been tastefully updated to have a cottage chic appeal and MOST of all in my book is that it was COMPLETELY clean!

Anniversary stay

This place is very clean, convenient and comes with a million-dollar view right outside your balcony. I loved the contactless check-in and check-out. Communication via email and text made it very easy. The rooms are pretty basic but have some nice updates and everything we needed including comfy beds, a small coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and a nicely stocked bathroom. The only downsides are the nearness of the street (mostly foot-traffic) and the balcony being one long run with no separation between rooms. On the other hand, if friends or family are in adjacent rooms they will share common space! It was not a place I’d feel comfortable bringing small children due to the drop down to the rocks below the simple balcony railing. So the outside of the building would benefit from some updating but we slept like babies and were very happy in our room. 😊

Hello, Thank you for the great review! Glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Though we are right on Bearskin Neck in the heart of Rockport, our rooms are set at least 40 feet back from the street and all the bedrooms are ocean side, giving privacy for our guests. As for children, we do have guests who stay with children, our back decks are ocean front but parental supervision is probably necessary if they are worried about children squeezing through the deck railings.

Extremely pleased
Krystle was extremely helpful with tips and communication. She was very efficient in letting us know that we could check in early, providing supplies so we get what we needed. She provided a microwave to reheat our leftovers. She let us know about the harbor master and their number for on shore fishing questions. Texting worked for us because she responded so quickly 😀 Our room was comfortable and had a great view. We enjoyed the deck for snacks, lunch and nature watching. Especially loved that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go easily; no hunting for parking spots !!!

Immaculate! Perfect getaway!
Immaculate! Newly redone, beautiful views, right in the heart of Rockport, walking to everything, great communication with owners, flower delivery waiting in the room as requested! Nothing could have made it better. New climate control unit for perfect, steady comfort. Planning on staying again and again! You will not be disappointed! Defined as a motor lodge but just as personal, quaint and appointed as any inn.
