Pool has no seating and never had towels for use. Hot tub not working and pool is freezing cold. The restaurants in the hotel are extremely expensive ($17 for ckn strip basket that is the size of a kids meal), 1.5hr wait to be double charged for food, Check out says 12 and housekeeping was knocking before 9am just to "ask" what time you were leaving. Not a great experience for us this time.

When checking was directed to their parking which only consisted of a handful of spots. No place to park after I was charged for parking. When inquired I was told to try a parking garage down the street. Room was very small with the sink inconvenient spot right by the door. Pillow case had stained blood on it. Someone had a dog barking at night/early morning since they allow pets. Would recommend a different hotel as there are several within a few blocks.

The Kahler properties have been my home away from home for every three or four months for seven years of visiting Mayo Clinic. They were there through the pandemic, and were amazing! The Kahler is incredibly convenient (roll out of bed and walk across the street to Mayo …and other destinations as well) so nice and clean, each one has a really good restaurant. Best choice in Rochester. I highly recommend :-)

The building is quite old. The noise from the fan in the room for the heater was loud. There was an odor in the halls. Convenient for Mayo appointment. Staff were helpful. The parking seemed expensive

Nothing like paying $120 a night plus $15 for parking to stay in a dirty hotel with black hair from previous hotel guests ALL OVER the sheets and sleeping on an old box spring!!! I can’t believe this. I’m shook. I can’t even check out the bathroom in fear I wouldn’t be able to sleep. Do not stay here

I always stay here when I come to the Mayo Clinic. Easy access to the subway level so you can get to appointments without worrying about the weather. Also easy to walk to a variety of downtown restaurants.

I recommend Kahler Inns and Suites most highly to anyone needing quality accommodation with easy walkable access to Mayo Clinic. I was able to go to my room between appointments as it never took more than 3 minutes to get to anywhere in the hospital or clinic.

We actually stayed 3 nights because of some additional treatment. The beds are very uncomfortable so when they added more treatment we moved to a different hotel that was a little cheaper and had breakfast included. At the new hotel the beds were very comfortable. We will not stay at the Kahler again.

This was my third stay at Kahler Inn and Suites. The convenience to Mayo appointment buildings is the best feature. It is so easy to walk across the street. This time I did get a bum mattress. Lumpy… my back is still sore. Plus, I would like free parking.

Extremely convenient for Mayo Clinic visitors. Can access from underground walking subway tunnels. Was able to leave 10 minutes before my appointment and make it there in time for check in. Keep in mind, it’s an old property so if it’s amenities and elegance you’re looking for this isn’t the place for you. Desk worker called about an hour after check in to make sure we had everything we needed. I can’t complain about our visit, we were there Monday-Friday.

I love the proximity to the Mayo Clinic. The staff was personable, professional and efficient. Paying $15 to park in the garage was a big benefit as well. One thing to improve upon: Please deep clean the floors in the bathrooms and on the carpet edges. Thank you for all you do!

This was a prepaid room. When I checked in, they wanted to check on $50 surcharge for incidentals. I explained that I wasn’t going to use any incidentals but they still had to apply the charge. I spoke to the manager who said she could not take the charge off until the next morning, period. They explained that they didn’t have the power to take the charge off.

Rooms were extremely small and bathroom was disgusting. Bath tub was rusting and falling apart, there was no water pressure and we had to pay to park in the hotels parking ramp which was falling apart, small tight spaces and very low ceiling did not feel safe at all. Location was close to the clinic but not a place you wanted to go back to to rest and relax as it was dark and the tv situation was very slow and needs updating as well. The entire hotel is very old and outdated.

I was a little nervous when we checked in and were on the 2nd floor with the pool. At 9pm it was very loud. However, we could hardly hear a peep once we got into our room and at 10pm when the pool closed, it was very quiet. The front desk attendant wasnt able to answer questions about restaurant hours and parking, but was fulling in from the sister hotel and was very nice.

Initially I was in a room sub par. Smelled like cigs and no fan in bathroom. The heater was too much. Next morn the staff made quick accommodations to get me in a room that had no smoke smell, fan worked, heated appropriately without a fuss. Excellent professionalism

We like being able to use the subway level attached to Mayo Clinic. The restaurant doesn’t have a wide selection of food to eat. It’s also quite expensive for what you get.

I've stayed here many many times and normally book through them. I have a small dog, they have never charged me for him...this time they charged me $172...reason? They said I booked the room this time through Expedia and not them. I paid $321 for this room, could have stayed in a MUCH better hotel for that money. Will never book there again.

1. Lukewarm "Hot" water: morning and night. 2. Bathroom door wouldn't close, and inside bathroom side of door totally rotting out. 3. Bathtub drain-stopper wouldn't close or fully open: rusted on. 4. Carpets: room/hallway: stained a lot. 5. In-Hotel parking is HORRIBLE!!! For 7' vehicles: one level ONLY! 6. Staff: all friendly/helpful. 7. Excellent dining: JimmyJohns, Caribou, Restaurant. 8. Good Room Rate. Sorry, facility NEEDS a major rennovation. Won't stay there again.
