«We went here with another couple and enjoyed 2 junior suites next to one another without other rooms nearby. Everything was great: room, staff, food. We especially loved the birding tour with Julian Fernandez which started at 5:15 AM to look for quetzals (which we saw) and after breakfast we continued with the tour until 11. «Had a three night stay here, it’s very close to the national park and beach in a very safe area with a lot of food options. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the AC worked very well. Scott was a great host and readily available to answer any questions. As a woman, solo traveller, would def recommend. »

«Hotels dot com screwed up the reservation, but Jessica at the property did everything she could and made sure I️ have accommodations for my trip. She’s there to help and does a great job at that. The road going to the site is dirt, but that’s expected in CR. The pool at the smaller condos is amazing. Infinity, with fantastic views and the right depth to hang out and enjoy life. Definitely going back there the next time I’m in Uvita!!»

"We had a nice stay at El Faro. The hotel had ok quality, but had a very nice location and a fantastic view of the ocean. And loads of monkeys and wildlife right at the hotel, even on our balcony! Fun!"
