«Quaint little cosy cottage, equipped with everything you need. Wifi good, heating good, wood burning stove just lovely in the evening. Communication with owner perfect - especially when we managed to accidentally lock ourselves out, eek! - thanks for your kindness Mike. Surrounding areas fantastic for dog walks - Pucks Glen, Benmore, Ardentinny all highlights for us. Kilmun arboretum just a few steps along the road also well worth a visit. Would highly recommend, and will return!»

«Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.»

«As advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.»

«The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. »

«The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.»

«A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!»

«I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice.»

«Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!»

«While the facilities provided in the apartment were as stated, the dark location at the rear of the building was disappointing with virtually no outlook. The constant humming from the electronics was particularly annoying to hearing aids. We never used the cooking facilities, so cannot comment. For a 1 week stay this is not a great facility and in our opinion is overpriced.»
