Hotellet var veldig bra og hadde en utmerket beliggenhet i forhold til våre planer. Kort avstand til togstasjonen gjorde at vi kom oss til London og Oxford på under en time. Ellers lå hotellet midt i byen med handlegatene kun et kvartal unna. Hotelllet hadde bra fasiliteter, veldig god frukost og bra renslighet. Egen lekekrok i resepajonsområdet ble også verdsatt av våre små. Eneste vi kunne sette fingen på var at A/C ikke fungerte optimalt og at det derfor ble noe varmt på rommet etter at sola hadde stått på en dag. Dette var likevel ikke noe stort problem, så alt i alt et hotell som kan anbefales.

Hotell med flott plassering men lite annet
Hotell som bærer preg av mye bruk og alder. Utforming av rom var ikke veldig praktisk. Kommer nok til å velge annet hotell neste gang da oppholdet ikke sto til forventningene pga. pris.

Uakseptabelt kaos
Uakseptabelt kaos! Vi valgte dette hotellet pga beliggenheten i sentrum. "Problemer med datatsystemet" gjorde at de ikke hadde to, men kun ett rom for oss da vi ankom om kvelden. De ville splitte oss og sende vår sønn/oss til et annet hotell 20 min unna med taxi. Alt var forhåndsbetalt. Dessverre er dette en av mange hendelser vi har erfart i løpet av de siste årene ved bestillinger via hotels.com. Vi har derfor begynt å bestille hotell direkte via hotellene.

The safe choice
You are safe if you choose Novotel in Reading Centre. It is clean, efficient av the location in right in middle of town, but still with easy access by car. Super breakfast. It is not a place with personal service where you get the feeling of coming home, but it is a good place to stay.

Just a deeply average place. Everything a bit worn out, rooms uncomfortably warm and noisy. Unfortunately not much choice in Reading hence they can get away with the prices they charge mid week.

Room condition caused injury
The hotel was lovely and the room facilities were great. Unfortunately during the night I got up to use the bathroom and tripped on a bit of carpet that had come away from the floor (see photo) and bashed my head on the cupboard opposite causing severe concussion.

The staff were magnificent. We had a Christmas for two of our granddaughters as we would not see them before. The staff made sure we had adjoining rooms and helped us bring all the presents and Christmas tree up to the room. They even allowed us to check in really early. Thanks

Modern reception, Good shower thats where it ends. The rooms are old , small and well used. I requested water for the room and they told me to drink the tap water in the bathroom.... for £120 a night i expect water in the room !

Lovely stay
Lovely hotel, very central - right by the shops. Room was great and had a bath and separate shower. The pool/spa/gym area was really nice and spotless. Breakfast was so huge with loads of choice and the staff were all lovely.

Good hotel in great location
Friendly welcome. Good room. Big comfortable bed. Bath and separate shower in compact but well designed en-suite. Separate toilet. Mini fridge with fresh milk. Safe. Comfortable sofa. Large TV. Only there for 1 night en-route to Heathrow but served it’s purpose very well. Would happily stay again.
