We stayed at the lodge. Large spacious room. With a kitchenette equipped with all the basics to cook. In the room you will find earplugs to help you sleep better, as you will hear every single step from the second floor guest. Wifi is spotty. Of note, the breakfast is at a different building which it will require guest to drive to get coffee, milk, cereal, juice, some pastries and fruit. Staff is friendly

This was perfect for our family trip. The only thing I would say if the mattresses were very hard. But it was very nice over all.

Schöne Unterkunft. Allerdings ist das Hinweisschild vor dem Eingang zum Office eine Stolperfalle. Außerdem fanden wir es seltsam, dass es in einem Zimmer, in dem bis zu sechs Personen übernachten könnten und das mit einer Küche ausgestattet ist, keine Sitzgelegenheit und kein Tisch zum Essen vorhanden ist.

This property was great! Very friendly staff! After i had left and was about an hour away they had called to tell me that my kids souvenir magnets had been left and they offered to MAIL THEM TO ME!!! How cool is that?! Great place for a small family vacation! About 12 minutes from downtown rapid city with multiple stores and dining!

For a larger offering there are many eateries in the local area for guests to choose from if they wish for something different.

Unexpected little gem on the way to My Rushmore. Quaint little cabin like feel to the room with great front office staff (thanks Royce for the help!).

This property is amazing. We had a group with us and everyone fit nicely. It was very clean and comfortable. The managers were awesome to chat with and so very friendly. We for sure will be back to stay with our family and children.

The cabin I stayed in was excellent. A little dry. There was a lack of dining options around but Rapid City was very close and that's my only real complaint.

We liked the comfortableness of the room and appreciated the friendliness of the owners. Considering its proximity to Mt Rushmore, the stay was very affordable and even came with complimentary breakfast. I rated the area around the motel average because there is not much there and it lies basically between the lanes of the highway, but when we were there we could barely hear any cars so it's not bad at all.

For those that like sitting on top of hill soak up a view watch traffic this is the place. Close enough to everything but far enough away to get back into your own mind for awhile.

Cozy little lodge. It was OK for the price we paid. Could use a little better cleaning. There was a heavy dirt ring on top of the shower. I was OK staying here, but my wife would not have enjoyed it.

Neat & tidy
Me and my granddaughter stayed 2 nights. Room was clean, neat, and tidy. I think they should put the extra pillows & blankets on the pull out bed and not behind it. The staff was super polite, friendly, and welcoming.

Upon arrival we found areas in the room that were downright dirty. Doorjambs that had to be scrubbed of food, I hope it was dried on food, and the silverware was obviously dirty. The sheets, towels, and bathroom appeared clean. Some of the staff was great, very helpful and nice. Some made us show proof before giving us a roll of toilet paper, and couldn't even be nice once you proved to them you were staying there.

Rockville was close to my mother's house. I have stayed in hotel's when I visit, so I stay somewhere different. No problems or complains.

Cindy checked us in, she was very kind, accommodated our room request, and gave us all the information we needed to be comfortable. Unfortunately when we switched rooms, it became a motel room and not a cabin or a lodge. That was a little disappointing.
