Loved this resort! So remote but next to town which was great! The only way to transport to town was taxi and everything here is pricey but the resort itself was beautiful. We really didn’t need to see the other beaches because the beach there was just as beautiful. Really quiet, the gym was ok but the pool was barely used. Some staff were really nice and welcoming and some were just normal.

For transportation it is really hard especially during cruise ship days where taxi & buses are hardly available for our guest request but our team try their best to arrange for our guest request. Everything is in the supermarkets, shops and even markets.Thankyou for choosing to stay at Ramada by Wyndham.

Very nice hotel, option to use a kayak on the small beach. Food was good, room was very clean. Town/shops is about a 30 min walk away. Our room was on the top floor and there is no lift so request a low floor if you don’t want to carry suitcases up stairs!

Great hotel for families
Great hotel especially for families and those wanting to option to be able to store their own food and drinks as it has a small kitchen. Beds are comfortable and bedding is lovely. Pull out sofa for child was quite hard but did the trick. Food at the restaurant was good (we recommend the steak!) Before we went we researched that tipping was not standard however we had a few uncomfortable exchanges with bar staff expecting a tip (we're happy to tip for great service however service at times at the bar was not amazing. There was one man in particular who working at he bar who was so lovely! We went to another hotel after and there was absolutely no expectation to tip and they even retuned change after we said not to worry about it.Beach/pool towels are scarce so i would recommend to bring your own if you can fit in your luggage. The comments about the hotel being on a cliff are valid but buggies are available and also the walk up/down isn't too bad. Also there is a small convenience store very close and a longer walk to a large supermarket (Which is amazing) and a bit further along is the markets. Overall a great hotel and would recommend and I would stay again.

Yes tipping is not allowed but some guest do give tips to staff when they feel they receive the best service . I have nothing to say as everything was wonderful, the staff are absolutely amazing. The only issue we found was the TV remote was hard to use and the resort had issues ytv reception. Would return on any other trips to Pt Vila

The view from the lagoon suite was spectacular. Staff super friendly and helpful. Was disappointed that milk for tea and coffee was not replenished. The lift had internal hand rails that needed repair. The restaurant food was well presented and tasty.Would definately recommend friends to stay at the Ramada.

I would not recommend, we were given a room next to a permanent star who had children that were loud and thumping, clearly left alone whilst the staff was working, I knew it was someone permanent as there were potted plants on their balcony. The room was ok, water stains on ceiling were acceptable considering they had a cyclone. No lift to the room only stairs that had no lighting (dangerous when we had to leave early morning carrying our luggage down 3 flights of wet stairs whilst it was drizzling. It was not the $300/night lagoon view we were expecting. Staff at dinner were utterly non existent, we got our main and they never came back, we ordered the lobster with butter lemon caper sauce and crispy potatoes which was actually a small overcooked lobster with some butter, a slice of lime on a bed of fries… it was definitely not worth the cost! I will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone.

We can only apologies sincerely, while the team had been briefed to clearly explain to you the situation that had led to your experience, it is clear this has not come across effectively. Ordinarily we ensure that the resort does not overbook for the simple reason it means we cannot offer the highest level of service and experience we pride ourselves on.The resort did find itself overbooked as we have been housing guests whom have lost roofing during the cyclones. We had hoped they would be able to check out and return home, but had been advised at the last minute that this was not possible. Given the situation, we did not feel we could ask them to check out and made the difficult decision to downgrade some reservations.As part of this we did end up having to downgrade your reservation but had already applied a 50% discount to your room rate, which Expedia will refund to you. I am sorry that this was not clearly explained at check in.I will follow up your comments with our F&B team to ensure that your experience is addressed, the roster at the restaurant is growing with team gradually coming back to work as they repair their homes.While I understand that you may not wish to come back to the resort, I assure you that it was only in this extreme circumstance that we had been unable to meet your expectations and we are truly sorry for this. We loved our stay at the Ramada Resort. The room was excellent - great space and excellent facilities. Ben the manager was friendly, interested in us and engaging. This extended also to the staff who were friendly, efficient land inclusive. Big shout out to Bob the pool attendant who was so good. As a gay couple we felt respected and included which was great. Overall the quality of amenities and service offered by the Ramada is way above some of the other quality we experienced on Vanuatu. Well done

Good service but not all as good as promised.
The rooms and housekeeping were good, but lift was not working. We were not able to use the beach and very bad and poor breakfast. All these issues have spoiled our holidays and it was very misleading advertising by Hotel.com. You MUST check the conditions of the hotel and advice the guests regarding limitations very important facilities.

Lovely overnighter that needs more bang for buck
The size of the junior suite was a lovely surprise. Really roomy and comfortable, having a kitchenette was very handy and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Our water stopped working for an hour just before check-out, right when we were hoping to shower and freshen up before our international flight, and we needed maintenance to come out and get our TV going. I expected a few more ‘expensive resort inclusions’ such as complimentary bottles of water and more towels. An online menu for the Sportsbar would also be good. The room service menu wasn’t very inspiring.

We stayed 5 nights and have to say the standard of service was well below par. For 4 of those nights we walked past the same dirty room service plates which would have been walked past every day by several staff. I'm sure the rats had a good feed on the scraps. Not sure if that's the branding message the Ramada wants! We tried to book in at 4.30pm after prior notice of our arrival time (again letting the hotel know of our expected arrival time) only to wait 30 minutes before our room was ready and check in time started at 2pm!!!. Feel like we were ripped off by 3 hours and were not offered any compensation or even simply a cold drink. We were harassed 4 times to check out on the wrong day because of a split booking made by the property which we told them about when we checked in. The last attempt by staff to evict us from our paid room was directed to my cousin who was extremely unwell trying to rest in our paid room to which the staff wanted her to walk uphill 500 metres to the hotel reception to settle the account even though we weren't meant to be checking out. We also had to ask 4 times for the beds to be made up as singles despite email confirmation before trip that this would be done. Finally at 9pm this was done. Some might say first world problems and I agree but if you pay for a 5 star experience (and boy did we pay) this was well below our expectations. I suggest Wyndham sorts this type of service out as its not on brand and in no way rewarding to your customers.

Amazing staff, really attentive and always very helpful. After staying here I can see why some might never leave the resort. The rooms are large and clean and the view over the lagoon is beautiful. The restaurant and bar are well set out, the only thing is ran out of stock and change a couple of night we were there but given it was over Xmas it's understandable. Absolutely recommend this place!

Loved the location! Great to have free use of the paddleboards and kayaks. Was a little disappointed with the cocktails. Some bar staff were excellent and cocktails were as expected , some missed chocolate syrup and honey around inside of glass as an example for toblerones. Not a cheap cocktail so wanting it to be as described.
