I have stayed at this hotel many years ago and it was good however this time it was not. The only area that looked nice and clean was when I walked in the front door. From there on it went downhill. The elevator looked like it hadn’t been swept in a month. My room had not been vacuumed, the fridge still had items in it from the previous guest, etc. I asked for another room but none was available. I looked at the bedding which I suspected hadn’t been washed but I had traveled all day, I had already paid for my entire stay and I was exhausted so I stayed that night. Normally I would’ve left and found something else. The next morning I was supposed to get a new room but after I made 3-4 phone calls it was decided they would just clean my room. I took all of my things out of the room so they could properly clean it. After it was cleaned one bed had a down cover in between the sheets and bedspread but the other one only had the sheets & bedspread. After getting in the bed after cleaning it was obvious that I had for sure slept on dirty sheets the previous night. I was thoroughly disgusted. I was there for 4 nights, there was a toothpick on the elevator floor for all 4 days. I’m surprised this was a Wyndham property because I traveled a lot for my job and never had any problems. The housekeeping manager and staff should be reprimanded as well as the hotel manager. I will never stay at this hotel again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Very unclean, rooms did not smell good at all and worse when you turned the air con on. Halls, elevator, doors, floors, walls had all kinds of noticeable grime and dirt. The desk chair had stapled fabric as cover for the cushion of the chair.

The lady at check in was nice and helpful. But that’s where the good review ends. Pool was in bad condition, very murky and an under water light was popped out and floating in the water. Called front desk to see if pool was closed it looked so bad and told them and they laughed and apologized but the light was never fixed and water was horrible never could go swimming. Went to charge snacks to room from their little store and was not allowed. Breakfast was a mess.

It was easy to see friends in Mesa. It is a standard La Quinta property so it was clean and had what we needed. The rooms are loud in the fact that you can hear other people using their restrooms and showers, but that is standard for La Quintas.

The door latch in the wall was missing so the door was slightly loose but the lock worked and we felt safe.

The girl that was working, the counter is really nice and friendly and super helpful. They ran out of the room I needed, but gave me a better room instead with no extra charge.

The bedroom was very comfortable to move around the space. Housekeeping was late to clean the room, I was not informed. It would have been informed to me would have been great. The elevator was very dirty, it looks like it was not clean for some time.

I booked two rooms for three nights at this property last week. One of the days, the hotel did not clean the room. Also there is a problem with drainage when taking a shower.

We were given a room where the air condition was broken. I complained and wanted to be transferred to another room and was told they were overbooked. They should have not given us a room with no air. The guy named Muhammad was good and able to drag the whole unit out of the room left a big hole in our room and was able to fix it after 2 hours. We were all sweating and the room was hot with no air and the only thing they could say was they were overbooked and sorry coz they couldn’t do anything. It is unacceptable to be treated that way. They should inspect the room all the time if everything works before they offer it to the hotel guests.

Overall, this LaQuinta is an excellent choice. I do have one complaint however, the toilet bowel filled much too full. I hope this was unique to my room.
