This motel should never have been promoted on Expedia site. It is located in a vert sketchy area of Phoenix, had windows broken anf boarded up and housed what appeared to be long term tenants. We check out our room and saw the bathroom was not clean and tub bottom was filthy. Very didappointed. Left immediately and did not stay. Found another hotel and got a refund from Expedia.

This was the most vile disgusting place I have ever been, hooker and drug dealers living in the rooms, homeless people bathing in the yard, staff has no clue about anything, nothing works in the rooms 😕 i would never stay there again. I want a refund for everything. I even had to get a new key card every day! What a joke. I can't believe LaQinta has there name on this place

This property was not in high standards compared to all the other la Quinta inns which is my go to locations. Upon walking in the front door glass was shattered which honestly looked like A bullet hole. When I got to my room I tried Multiple times to call to Speak to the front desk with no answer when I walked up the workers were in the back just hanging out. Breakfast was a joke. Keys didn’t work right. Bathroom tub wasn’t very clean. The overall experience just wasn’t enjoyable between poor conditions and staff that just didn’t seem to care about anything. Probably Will now steer away from this company.

It took four tries to find a satisfactory room. I'm not a picky person. First room had cockroaches all over the floor. Live and dead. Second room only had one bed when the reservation was for four of us. Third room they gave me the key to ALREADY HAD SOMEONE STAYING in it. The rooms look like they've been partially renovated but most of it is done badly. Like putting a band aid on a broken leg. The room we ended up with seemed clean but the smell kept me awake. I bolted the door in case the office gave someone else the key to my room. There were homeless people wandering around outside and I felt unsafe. There weren't even blankets on the beds, only sheets. The TV was broken. The tub looked ancient. I should have walked out and found a different hotel. We will not be staying there again.

I took a chance on this one based on the point that there were mixed reviews, but there is no doubt that this place is a dump. The first room that I saw was completely unacceptable, and had to request a move. The property is very poorly maintained and the rooms were a disaster. Damaged fixtures, old & gross furnishings that were downright scary to even touch, was normal here, not the exception. There were burns & stains throughout the room surfaces. I had to keep my shoes on the entire time in the room. I had to bare through it due to a lack of time for change and last minute lack of choices. Had I known in advance, I would certainly have selected an alternate property. I will let it go that the neighborhood is sketchy because that is not the property's fault.

Run, don't walk away from this property. Homeless outside of your door, extremely noisy at all times of the night. Not safe.!! La Quinta you need to step up, your reputation is at stake here. We were relying on your name in order to stay here. The rooms were old, the tub and surround needed to be replaced, I wouldn't even get in it. We were allowed to get out of staying for another 2 nights and move to another hotel. And I am so Thankful for that. Thank you La Quinta.

Dirty rooms, the pool was closed on a 90 degree, sunny day. Dirty parking lot area. The room had particles all over the floor. The sheets were stained. Bathroom had urine around the toilet upon arrival, and also not clean. Gross in general!

Crack head central. Noise all night. People milling about outside. Yelling, fighting. I stayed 4 nights and it was the same every night. Pictures looked great. Reality was it’s filthy and drug infested.

The staff were great. And the room was clean but a bit busted up, no bugs or critters.The walls are thin. BUT this is a shady looking hotel, bums, homeless, drug addicts and prostitute were coming in and out of many of the rooms. There was a smell of urine around the corner...I went outside to smoke and two guys came up that looked suspicious, and my date had to make his appearance to make the guys leave. The dennys there sux too.the Starbucks was good, drive thru only.

Didn’t read the reviews and trusted it since it was a La Quinta and I’ve stayed at a few before and had a alright experience; nothing fancy and perfect for one night! Well, this must’ve been another motel using their name as I can’t believe I’ve ever been to one that was this rancid. I knew the neighborhood wasn’t the best but damn, it was really rundown and the whole environment was disgusting. The stairway smelled of urine and had a wonderful selection of pee cups, tossed burgers, and toothbrushes to choose from. Graffiti littered the walls and had some wonderful moments. Realistically, the rooms were perfect for one night and I was satisfied enough. If you’re planning on staying here, be sure to do just one night and leave as soon as possible. I can’t imagine being here any longer than that.

The room was disgusting, dirty bathtub, writing on the bedroom walls, pealing paint on the walls! Two different Uber drivers warned me about the unsafeness of the area as well. Expedia should refund my funds for booking a establishment like this.

This was the most run down and shabby LaQuinta I have ever stayed at Rooms were poor quality shower barely worked and so short I couldn't shower and I am not a tall person. Breakfast was pretty sparse, rooms were cold, no chair or desk to even sit at. It looked like no one took care of it since 1960

The property: The building looks very dilapidated. Trash all around the property. Homeless and/or undesirables roaming around. Had to keep looking out the window at night, thinking someone could break into the car. The room: It smelled like someone had just smoked 100 cigarettes. The bed sheets did not smell clean and had cigarette burns in them. The carpet had seen better days and it was at a minimum, in dire need of steam cleaning. Dirty walls, curtains, doors, and closet. The interior lock handle to the bathroom door was missing, requiring someone outside the bathroom to open the door for the person using the facilities. Only 1 of the 3 lamps in the room actually worked. The 2 keycards deactivated and we were locked out of our room. We called the front desk multiple times (x10), as the lobby was rather far from our room, but the person answering the phone kept putting us on hold without saying anything. We finally took the long walk to the lobby and found another guest arguing with the front desk person for a similar reason. $120 p/night was way overpriced for such a dumpy place.

Property was super dirty, mold in the bathroom and INFESTED with roaches. People doing meth in the stair wells and the staff not doing anything about it. Also walked by a room that looked like a meth lab.

This property was pretty awful and should be closed down. The floor had a giant squishy wet spot that seemed like a permanent facet of the room. The curtains had holes in thick canvas and everything was really dirty. The door did not feel secure. We left pretty immediately and got another place because I knew we wouldn't be able to sleep. Only positive was that I got a refund and the linens were clean. Staff seemed kind, but that only goes so far.

Filthy place. Can't believe LaQuinta would allow their name to be associated with this hotel. The place is run down, paint peeling, graffiti in the exterior walls by the stairs, corridors smell of urine. There were multiple stains in the carpet in the room, paintings had been removed and there were a bunch of nail holes that hadn't been repaired. Would not recommend staying under any circumstances. In fact we left early rather than spending another night at this place.
