My recent stay at Novotel Paris Les Halles was incredibly frustrating and deeply disappointing. The heater in our room was non-functional for the first two nights, leaving us in the cold and ultimately causing my daughter to fall ill. Despite multiple reports to the staff, it took them three days to address the issue, wasting hours of our vacation time waiting for maintenance that repeatedly never showed up.
Furthermore, our privacy was blatantly violated. Despite explicit instructions to the front desk and a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, hotel staff entered our room without our permission. To make matters worse, upon checkout, I was assured that no charges would be applied to my credit card until the issues had been resolved and compensation had been discussed. Contrary to this assurance, my card was charged without any prior discussion or resolution. The response from the hotel and the lack of accountability have been appalling. This was not just an uncomfortable stay; it was a complete disregard for guest satisfaction and basic hotel standards. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience.
