Forferdelig service
Dusjen fungerte ikke og de fikk ikke fikset problemet eller gitt oss ett nytt rom før sent dag nummer to. Vi fikk ingen kompensasjon for at dusjen ikke fungerte. Rommet er også mye mindre enn på bildene og de benytter 120 senger på dobbeltrom. Hotellet er også plassert rett over t-banen som gjør at du hører metroen og kjenner at det rister hver gang den kjører forbi.

Pent og stille midt i byens larm
Rommet var lite, men pent og funksjonelt. Badet var helt nyoppusset og flott. Førsteinntrykket av selve rommet var litt klaustrofobisk fordi det lå i første etasje med eneste vindu ut mot et svært lite og trangt gårdsrom, men luftkondisjoneringen var effektiv og støysvak, så det ble ikke noe problem. Personalet var vennlig og forekommende, og frokosten overraskende god (det var ikke bare kontinental frokost). Og plasseringen i en stille sidegate var også gunstig. Men fremfor alt var det beliggenheten som gjorde dette hotellet til et perfekt valg for turister på besøk i Paris: Kort gangavstand til latinerkvarteret (og vår yndlingsbule "Aux troi Mailletz", med variert musikk hele natten), til stasjonen Cluny-Sobonne med direkte tog til Charles de Gaulle-flyplassen og til metrostasjoner og bussholdeplasser som gjorde det enkelt å reise i nær sagt alle retninger. Noen av de mest aktuelle bussruten stoppet mindre enn 50 meter fra hotellet. Og restauranten St. Viktor like rundt hjørnet var et utmerket sted å spise etter ankomsten i et overopphetet Paris. Der fikk vi bl.a. annet tidenes beste salade nicoise, med mengder av fersk tunfisk. Dette er alt i alt det gunstigste hotellet vi har bodd på i Paris - og det har større og bedre rom for dem som vil betale for det.

Hyggelig hotell med fin beliggenhet.
Alt var bra! Flott beliggenhet. Rett ved Notre Dame og i koselige Latinerkvarteret med kafeer og restauranter. I gåavstand til mye, men har uansett metroen 100 m unna. Toget fra flyplassen stopper 300 m unna (eller ta metroen litt til). Koselig innredning og hyggelig personale. Kan sikkert pusses opp etterhvert, men rent og fint. Bra frokost! Kommer gjerne tilbake!

Midt i smørøyet av Paris
Fint hotell. Litt varierende i resepsjonen. Fikk feil nøkkel til et rom og måtte vente lenge på nøkkelen en annen dag. Men det positive ble viktigere enn de få minus. Frokost var bedre enn forventet. Den er ordentlig med ferske varer. Bedre det enn stort utvalg der kvaliteten er varierende. Flott at man selv valgte hvilke dager man ville spise frokost på hotellet. Da gikk man bare ned og undertegnet på en liste. Mange kjenner vel følelsen av å ha betalt for frokost, men at frokosttidene ikke passer til egen rytme på ferie. Her kan man velge. Samme dag.

Veldig koselig hotell i et rolig område nært det meste. Litt langt å gå til Eiffeltårnet og champs elyssee men ellers veldig bra. Hotellet var litt lite men det var god seng og bra med plass til 2 personer! Det var en metro og busstopp bare 1 min fra hotellet.

Utrolig hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening. Frokosten var som om å være hjemme, de gjorde alt for at vi skulle ha det bra. Det var deilig ost, nydelig yoghurt-dette kan de i Frankrike:)Hyggelig overraskelse at det var grovt brød. Veldig bra beliggenhet,rolig og supersentralt.

Sentralt hotell i forhold til de store severdigheter, men gir også nærhet til å bli kjent med mer ekte fransk atmosfære i latinerkvarteret. Kan anbefale en kveld i Rue Muffetard hvor det var en herlig blanding av studenter og turister. Meget gode bakerier, konditorier og kafeer i området.

Hotel was great location, plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Also is in a good walkable location from a lot of places, easy to quickly get both side of the river and explore. Had a twin room, room wasnt the biggest, however that is what to expect from paris really. 24hr manned from desk so people always available to help, breakfast was very standard buffet help yourself but so many places to eat around we only used it a couple of times. Only minor thing is the church next door which is very nice, loves to ring the bells, and not just to mark the hour/half hour, sometimes ringing them for minutes at a time. Which can be quite loud but wasnt too much of an issue since they do provide earplugs plus so knackered from walking around that just ignored it. The staff are great and very helpful, the hotel itself is very nice and has a lift which was quite useful as we stayed on the 6th floor. Overall very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Property is located in a walkable neighborhood surrounded by many restaurants, bars, cafes. The elevator is super small, fits 3 people max, so do not plan on bringing a lot of luggage.

Erg fijn verblijf gehad. Het hotel is redelijk recent onder handen genomen volgens mij. Wel zijn er al wat kleine mankementjes zoals een loszittende haak voor jassen/tassen, de deurklink naar de badkamer zat los. Verder een niet al te grote kamer maar ruim voor Parijse begrippen. Er was wat verwarring over het bijgeboekte ontbijt maar dat is uiteindelijk netjes opgelost. De locatie is top met een parkeergarage om de hoek net als een bakker, café/bistro en openbaar vervoer.

Stayed here for about a week. Rooms are quant but perfectly laid out. Bed comfortable, internet FAST and reliable. Staff helpful. Free, decent coffee in the lobby. Great breakfast downstairs. Overall excellent place to stay. Excellent value. Highly recommend.

Everything was small except the price. The elevator is so small my wife and I could not get into it with our luggage at the same time. We had to split up. The room is so small that it does not have a closet or furniture besides a tiny desk/chair. No place to open luggage except the bed. The shower head does not rotate so you can angle it down. You have to remove and hold the shower head to shower. You have to give the desk your room key when you go out. Pay the fee extra Euros and go to a regular size hotel. BTW- the staff was friendly.

Wonderful service
I stayed over for a short trip. The rooms are somewhat small but very clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was good and the breakfast service wonderful. I’d stay here again when I’m in Paris next.

Little town in Paris
You will hear bells at around sunrise from the church across the street. Those bells have a built in snooze function. It was still very pleasant and beats any other street noise you get from any city. That part of town seemed like its own little town. The hotel was clean and quaint. We were fascinated by the tiny elevator and the lovely architecture. The staff were wonderful. Everyone I came into contact that worked there at the Oratio (in the petit dejeuner; front desk; cleaning staff) were extremely helpful and friendly.

No Quartier Latin, as instalações são modernas e os funcionários foram muito solícitos. Conta com máquina de café e filtro de agua para uso dos hóspedes. O quarto e o banheiro são bem pequenos, como são todos em Paris na mesma faixa de preço. Há um estacionamento público próximo, mas não é barato e pode ser problemático para carros muito grandes.

This hotel is so wonderful! It’s clean and the lobby smells fantastic. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Be sure to pay to have breakfast in their basement cafe. It’s adorable and delicious. The rooms are small, but I hear that’s typical in Paris. We were a group of 7 and we all dream of returning to Hotel Oratio one day!
