Good resort in an attractive location
Stayed here for two nights in July. Room was comfortable and well dimensioned, with good facilities. The pool areas were great for the children. The resort was well maintained and looked very attractive. Would love to come here again, but maybe not in the height of summer.

We had a nice time. It’s a beautiful place but the rooms need some updating The sheets are not very comfortable at all and the AC didn’t work half the time

I imagine that the concept for this resort is "upscale motel". Honestly, that's what it is. Taking the old motel concept, giving it a huge make over, re-marketing it as a resort. The grounds are like a sprawling campus. Buildings beyond walking distance from the main lobby and pool, restaurant etc. There are other pools available to each block of rooms. They do a nice job of picking you up in a cart if you want a ride. The grounds were clean, attractive, and well kept. Rooms are clean and comfortable with kitchen and small living area. If you have kids - you have a door between you and them with a solid chance for privacy. For the price, it's a great value. But, this does not have a luxury resort vibe by any means. We were in town to visit a sick relative, the room was spacious and comfortable, we dipped in the pool each day. It was ideal for the price. But I wouldn't come here just to lounge by the pool - there's something too basic about it.

This property was ideal for us. Our room overlooked the "Quiet Pool" . Two minute walk and we were soaking up the sun! Full kitchen that we utilized for breakfast and lunch, and dined out for dinner, literally a five minute drive. Quick 10 minute drive to grocery store. Can't wait to book again next year!

It was relaxing. We went for coachella and it was nice coming back to a quiet hotel. I do wish you guys had a shuttle to and from the festival. But i totally understand why you dont.

property was as expected. We were put in a handicap access room. (we are not handicap though) It was ground floor and the shower had no lip on it so it kind of flooded the bathroom. It also had no hooks, shelves or room around the sink so I had to put all my makeup, curling iron Etc on the floor. It just didnt work very well. It also had very little natural light. Maybe the other rooms are more usable. But it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Poor reflection of Westin
We do a lot of traveling and stay at Westins all over the world. For the first time, Westin was a disappointment to us. The room had a bad odor, the bedding was not quality, sound insulation was poor and the layout had no privacy with windows to the hallway.

We liked the security of the property and felt the cleanup staff was very willing to please. Better maps of the property and how to get around the greater Palm Desert area might have been helpful. Otherwise, all facets of the visit were most pleasant, and we really have no complaints.
