The hotel itself is totally fine. However, front desk staff Tanisha is really rude and lack of customer service.
When I walked into the lobby to the front desk, without any greeting, she only said “check in time is 3pm and it is only 1:50.” Most of the time, hotel would still let guest check in and just give out the key later. She said they will charge $10 for that. I understand that the policy is 3pm, so I didn’t argue with her.
Returned at 3pm, again, without any greeting, she said “housekeeping is not done with the rooms.” I asked “what does that mean? So I cannot check in now? It is 3pm.” She checked on the computer for like 5 minutes and then was able to check us in and give me the key card. During the check in, she just threw back the credit card and ID to me with an attitude.
They also double charged me. I received a text message from the credit card that morning at 6am notifying me a charge from the hotel. When I checked in, even the paperwork printout showed I owe $0, she insisted I need to put in the credit card because they only charge when I check in. Apparently I was charged already that morning. I asked if it is for incidental, she said no, because they already have my card on file, if incidental is charged, they would pull the card info from the system. At that point, I just want to get the process done and I would just keep an eye on the credit card. I checked later, I got two charges of the same amount and one credit with the same amount.
