Bar hotell i rolige omgivelser.
Fint hotell beliggende i rolige omgivelser litt i utkanten av Oxford sentrum. Brta bussforbindelse til sentrum. Gangavstand til sentrum er ca 15 min - akseptabelt. Et bra utgangspunkt for dagsturer til andre byer / severdigheter. Fordel med egen bil hvis ikke er kjent med busstilbudet.

It was ok. We had a drink i the bar and staff were fine but i feel it was over priced. Ssme standard as a travelodge so unsure why so much more

Desk staff was “in training” and directed me to the wrong elevator. It was a hassle getting back to desk to ask for more info. Also, no refrigerator. Hot and cold faucets are separate and you can easily scald during a bath. No replacement bath gels left after cleaning. Thin walls. Crying baby next room.

Lovely location, about 20 minutes walk from the centre which we enjoyed doing. Really nice little hotel/lodge, the only downside was the room service ordering, we ordered two drinks to come to our room which were not complicated drinks and they took 45 minutes, and during this time my partner had to go and remind them to make them twice, and he ended up bringing them back to the room even though I had to pay £2.50 for delivery to the room.

Está un poco lejos de la universidad de Oxford (30 minutos a pie), pero es muy segura, y el camino es muy bonito. Habitaciones muy cómodas y amplias, check in y check out muy rápido. Precios de alimentos un poco elevados y el internet no es el mejor, se desconecta constantemente y no abarca toda la propiedad.

L'hôtel est parfait pour les touristes qui ont une voiture. Pour les autres, plusieurs bus mènent au centre ville et directement à la gare (billets pas chers achetés directement dans le bus) et la promenade à pied est agréable dans un quartier avec de magnifiques villas.

Very noisy
Our room was number 11 which is close to the reception and on a corridor which seems to be a main thoroughfare. I'm a fairly heavy sleeper but got very little sleep on the first night. There may as well have been no wall or door between the room and corridor as the sound insulation was nonexistent. People were coming and going at all hours banging suitcases on a small set on stairs in the corridor, slamming doors and talking loudly. I basically got no sleep from around 3am onwards. I asked to move rooms at reception in the morning and the fellow on the desk was very courteous and immediately gave me a room on the top floor. However I had the impression this was a regular occurrence so is a known problem to the management. Room 11 and I imagine others in the vicinity are not fit for purpose. Despite moving rooms the lack of sleep essentially ruined what was a much needed weekend break as we were too tired to enjoy the Saturday and ended up heading back to the hotel and having an early night. Parking was available for £10 per day. We were going to arrive late morning Friday and visit one of the museums before checking in at 3pm, and then checkout Sunday morning but leave mid afternoon. What wasn't clear when I booked is that parking is extra outside of the checked-in hours and then becomes extortionate. I can't give any more than 1* review because the management clearly know that noise is a problem in some of the rooms, and it ruined my weekend break. I wouldn't stay again.

This was my 3rd visit to the Linton Lodge. The staff are welcoming and efficient. As a lone female, the all night staffed reception makes me feel secure. The location is perfect. The breakfast selection is more than adequate, very enjoyable. My only criticism, the rooms are a tad on the warm side. I wonder how it would feel during the simmer months. I am looking forward to staying again.

Our stay was just “ ok’ We got into the room and the cleaner had left some of their cleaning spray an cloths on the side When we pulled back the bed sheets there were strands of hair in the bed, I’m assuming from the cleaner. The walls were fairly thin so you could hear the couple arguing next door!! Staff were friendly. Just a shame about the hair in the bed. Really nice and affluent neighbourhood. Loved Oxford.

Tyckte hotellet på det stora hela var bra. Duschen gav omväxlande iskallt och rätt varmt vatten, men jag är van vid England så det upprörde mig inte. Frukosten kunde varit fräschare, men Cooked English Breakfast gör sig inte riktigt som buffé. Mitt rum var utmärkt, bra säng, bra städning, full belåtenhet.

This has a lovely charm on decor and the amenities are very good. The staff gave incorrect information on breakfast vouchers and no information on website or asking if I was ok to go up a large staircase and another two flights to get to the room. No one to help with bags so I was glad I travelled light. As it was Boxing Day amenities closed early which was a shame when I picked the hotel for this reason. On checkout I waited whilst two staff had a discussion at the computer and even then they acted like I was an annoying addition to their day. The breakfast was fair with a few hot and cold choices.

Very nice hotel within walking distance of the city centre. Room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Frequent bus at the end of the road to centre if you don’t want to walk.

It was about a 1/2hr walk from Center town or an 8 minute walk to the bus stop. Nice quiet area and cheaper than most in the area. Rooms were a little small but clean and comfortable especially when all we were doing there was sleeping there. Breakfast buffet was good but we only used it the day we left.

We booked through hotels.com not fully aware it was an accessible room. Not a problem usually, however, the room was big, cosy, clean, comfortable and the shower was amazing. Here comes the but!!!! The room was just off reception. So we heard it all from breakfast time and beyond. Thwy did moveus two days in to a standard double. Should have stayed where we were firg8ving the 15 min interval wake up calls. Room was tiny; mold on tiles, bed like a rock. Plus light shone from landing...like a messiah was being born. Breakfast was good. Staff good as try best cant fault them x
