«From arrival we felt comfortable and welcome. The cottage and surrounds were very special. The owners have put a lot of thought into comfort and enjoyment for their guests. After taking in the initial beauty and serenity of the place we entered to find a bucket of feed with which to feed the goats. It is rightly named the ‘Country Cottage’ from the wood fire inside to the blue wrens and goats outside. We absolutely loved it and were sad to leave. «We stayed in the Monash Cottage as it is pet friendly, this was a major attraction for our stay. The Monash Cottage is quite a rustic building with a unique history, however the basic nature of the building won’t be for everyone. But it worked really well for our purposes and would stay again. This site is an interesting piece of living history in a rural setting.»

The cottage was beautifully designed and spacious, with a stunning back porch and front gardens with a fountain, large outdoor chess set and picnic areas made this holiday tranquil and welcoming. We loved the access to fabulous bush walks snd our hosts were happy to share their extensive knowledge of tge area. The accomodation was well situated, very clean and comfortable.
