«The house was a cool relief from the unseasonably warm May weather. We spent a lot of time cooling off in the pool and making friends with the sociable neighbors. «We were 7 middle aged moms and greatly enjoyed the house, kitchen, pool and hot tub for our getaway weekend. Funny to mention, but very important for menopausal women, is that all the temperature controls were highly responsive and effective - house cooling, pool & hot tub warming - for our needs. Beds and couches were all comfortable and 3 bathrooms were essential; the house was very clean and up to date. Location, communication, and access were all great.»

«UT Orientation lasts for 3 days, and we decided to stay in a VRBO instead of a hotel. It was the best decision we made. The hosts were very proactive with the information needed for the stay. The house was very clean and everything was thought of, including chargers, snacks and toiletries. The house is about a 15-minute walk to the Speedway, North Campus. While we were at orientation, we left our 15-year-old son and two dogs at the house and were never worried about their safety. Central Market ...

«Really walkable considering Austin is a car town. Can get to 6th St., Rainey St., and of course, Ladybird lake and kayak/paddleboard rentals. Only thing I'd ask they add is some official bedding for the couch if that's where someone is going to stay - it pulls out but there were not many extra pillows, blankets, or any sheets left for that.»

«This bungalow is adorable with lots of room for lots of people. I believe that the listing said one bedroom had a king and a twin, but that room actually has two queens which was great. Hosts were very responsive and helpful! Everything you need inside! However, the houses next door were run down and overgrown and a whole bunch of trash cans are lined up on the street in front of the house and dog poo all over the front sidewalk. Missing furniture/dresser options in bedrooms so no place to place luggage or clothing other than downstairs. Small things like paper towels and washcloths would be nice additions.
