«The property overall was clean. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and a knot of hair in the bedsheets. The kitchen has been updated and there is a good size living room. The bathroom is tiny!!! We found the beds to be uncomfortable, with and without the extra matress. The bed in the smaller.bedroom is broken and would roll around the room sometimes. Neighbor has a junkyard in their backyard. Property is very close to a beautiful beach. For a budget price it is worth it.»

«Beautiful views, amazing sunsets, plenty of water front activities. In the mornings we watched the osprey and heron fishing and in the evenings the otters playing off the docks. An easy 15 minute walk to the oceanfront. A beautiful quiet location to hang out or have easy access to all of the amenities in Virginia Beach.»

«This has been our FAVORITE thusfar. Plenty of space, a block from the local part (not busy) of Virginia Beach. EVERY detail was thought of and was included. Beach Chairs, Beach carry wagon, FLUFFY beach towels! Bedsc were great! Bathrooms roomy. Garage with ADDITIONAL washer and dryer. The outside shower to rinse feet, etc keeps everything neat. Gosh, i could go on and on! But... then our next dates MAY not be available because YOU'LL have booked! LOVE LOVE LOVE this space!»

Some things to consider…one bedroom is on the first floor, but both the full baths are on the second floor, so if you have anyone in your group with mobility issues, this is not the best place. «The ceiling was low, bathroom sink was clogged. Bathroom floor needs work. Property was clean and beds were comfortable. Loved being at the beach. They have a different Property i stayed at on an earlier date that was great. Although we didnt care for the mentioned things, the process was easy and the owners were good to deal with.»

«Comfortable ground floor apartment with two queen bedrooms and one room with bunk beds. Only one parking space. Kitchen inadequately equipped for cooking large family dinners. «We really enjoyed our stay at the Beehive. Our family enjoyed playing horseshoes, mini golf and lounging in the pool. It is a short walk to the beach which was very nice. We also liked the two separate units which worked well for our group. The house was affordable prices and I would recommend staying there.»

«Just like thay stated. A dual family under renovation. If you want shiny granite and huge bathrooms you won't be happy. Larger than expected. Highly recommend this place if coming to visit family at Norfork Naval Base. Close to the base, beautiful beach. Kitchen is workable. Wish they had a few more drinking glasses and a can opener but stores were very close by and we were able to pick some up.»
