«Beautiful old building, well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was great. Bathrooms in these old inns are afterthoughts, this one was squeezed in and did not match the high nightly price the inn charges. Fiberglass tub/shower was adequate but tight so wondered why they bothered with the tub, should have just done a shower and gained some room. Vanity top was in good shape but laminate. «Hyde Away Inn, though rustic and simple, was perfectly enjoyable. Accommodations were spare but comfortable and dinner and breakfast excellent. Staff were friendly, courteous and timely. Really a nice place if you don't need all the bells and whistles. The basics were just fine.»
