Resort was top notch. Spacious rooms. Beautiful pool area. Excellent beachfront property. Water was crystal clear. Perfect temperatures with a slight breeze. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Can’t wait to go back again!

The room was very nice. We were on a high floor and had a great view. The food was tasty and there were a lot of options. The “first come first serve” premium restaurant approach was challenging. It was difficult to get into a restaurant when you wanted. Reservations would be a better way to go. The staff wasn’t willing to assist with issues like obnoxiously loud guests in the room next to us. For 2 nights we had to deal with young drunk kids. Until 1:30am. The elevator was always broken. It made for difficult access to the rooms in a timely fashion.

We have the following suggestions: you should be able to make reservations for dinner at each of the restaurants; there should be more variety for pescatarian/vegan meals; low sodium offers; a bar closer (we were in palapa #75) to the beach; towels: some people need more than two towels - I needed one for my back, one for my knees, one to lay on, one to elevate my leg, there shouldn't be a limit on towels. We went to the steakhouse on Friday, 5/24. We arrived at 6 and left at 9. The wait for the main cause was too long. In addition, there were 4 to 5 weddings and because of this, some of the restaurants were closed to accommodate them. The room had a mustiness the whole week we were there, especially the drawers. The shows were good at the Palace and Antillas. The music at the club was too loud according to my husband and my watch.

The housekeeping was a little off this stay. I had to call 5 times to tell them we had no shower gel. They never brought it. Also they didn’t leave wash clothes. The tissue box was empty. Very disappointing.

Dining experience was awful. You could not make reservations and when we would go around 7pm to eat they would be “full” and could not accommodate us. We paid for an “all inclusive” stay but ended up going to town and paying to eat out at restaurants. The only way to get into our hotels restaurants is if you wait an hour before they open and then wait additional time to be seated. What a waste of your time. Also the elevator was broken so we had one operating the whole time so it would take 10 minutes to get on it and would stop at every floor. Horrible. Staff was rude in general and just Poor experience and I use to love this hotel. Won’t be back.

Beautiful hotel! Food was good. The Japanese restaurant was superb and the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner had tons of options to choose from! They offer poolside entertainment and a hit on the beach with free paddle boards, rafts, snorkel equipment. It was a great stay.

The hotel is right on the beach and very lively. The food was very good in all the dining halls/restaurants on the property. The room was well stocked with drinks, which was all inclusive. Excellent service for the price. The evening activities, including live music, were vibrant. The staff were very polite and helpful. We can't wait to go back again!

My first time to another country and it was amazing the weather was beautiful the waters were clear and soft sands. Loves laying by the pool and option of dining. I felt cleanliness because there were always staff cleaning painting and keep up with the facility was amazing.

The RIU Palace had one of the best beaches. A phenomenal pool too. Staff is friendly and resort is well kept and clean. Rooms do need to be updated though. One negative about the resort is their restaurants. The food is nothing to brag about. The best one is the buffet. We ate there everyday. The food was great and endless variety.

Our room wasn't cleaned when we checked in, but was quickly taken care of. The furniture was old looking. Couch in our room was stained. The outside property was clean and well kept. Pool and beach areas were really nice. Hotel staff was very nice. Food was excellent.

This location is ok has a wierd smell when you walk in not a bad one but strong wierd product smell. Outdated but bartender in the Antillas hotel was very nice overall staff is very slow. Long wait times for drinks for special restaurants took long time to get food served. Piu party was ok Hector did a great job and at times it looked like he was the only one with lots of energy. Overall ok experience.

We had an amazing time. The only negative I have to say was about our room. It wasn’t super clean upon arrival and only had It cleaned 3 times the whole week. It took housekeeping too long to get to the rooms. They would be there to clean around 4:30-5 just as we were getting back to get ready for dinner. Other then that we loved It and would definitely stay here again.

I arrived at the Riu on sunday May 5th, by monday may 6th after eating lunch at the Nautilus restaurant at 12, by 2pm my husband was violently sick. He was so sick i had to call a doctor to my room. We were told that he had food poisioning, he had diarrhea, terrible cramps, sweating, chills. He was given antibotics and meds for the pain in his stomach. The next day i came down with the same thing but i had such bad cramps it was on the level of labor pains. I had to call the doctor for myself. So for a 5 day vacation we only enjoyed a couple of hours basically since the rest of the time we were in our room. The hotel did nothing!!!!! I asked to speak with GM of the hotel and some women who was very rude told me she would make us soup!!!! I asked if the could do anything for us and she told us nothing they could do. I spent a pretty penny to stay here, The food poisioned us and they could careless. I would never stay here if i was paid to stay here. The place is also very rundown and needs an update, dated rooms and lobby. Aruba is a beautiful island and there are so many other places to stay. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

Our room was sweating when we entered.. Art work, couch and curtains had mold growing on them..Each time we entered it had a moldy scent..we tried to be moved to Antillas but they were booked solid..This resort looks awesome from the outside..Inside need to be worked on badly..

This is my second time at the Riu in Aruba. Overall conditions of the facility was OK. Food bars were excellent. The facility is starting to show its age. I was there seven years ago and the conditions have went downhill since then they need to invest in many little things, such as Room conditions, painting, furniture, etc. we love Aruba, but I wish the Riu Would spend little more attention to details.

Riu palace is a great value. Rooms are clean, staff is incredibly friendly and our only complaint is the hotel needs a refresh. New furniture in the lobby for example would improve the hotel dramatically.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Riu Palace Aruba from April 26, 2024 to May 2, 2024, confirmation number 27904372. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the standards I expect from Riu. Upon arrival, we were placed in a room with a leaking ceiling. This presented a significant health and safety concern, as well as a major inconvenience. Despite requesting a room change immediately, we were not moved to a different room until after 4:00 pm the following day. While the room change was eventually addressed, the new room presented further issues. The phone did not work, which I promptly reported to the front desk. Disappointingly, the phone remained unfixed. Three days later, I was again forced to complain about the inoperable phone. Furthermore, the amenities at the resort were significantly compromised throughout our stay. One of the two guest elevators and the service elevator were out of service for the entire duration of our visit. This resulted in excessive wait times for guests trying to access upper floors, including our room on the 8th floor. Waiting for the elevator often took anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, creating a frustrating and time-consuming experience. It is a problem when the Riu house keep staff with their carts do not get off the elevator so that the hotel guests can got to their rooms.
