«The staff was super friendly when we needed help getting a taxi to go outside of town. There was also a situation where a drunk man followed us and the hotel staff helped protect us. They also provided great recommendations and the complimentary breakfast and welcome beverage was a perk. The bed was also extremely comfortable! Thank you!»

«The staff was very friendly. Accommodations were clean and the grounds well maintained. The pool was excellent. Location is within walking distance to the beach. I did rent a golf cart to visit other beaches that were a little further away. One of the best meals I had was at a roadside soda. All in all, highly recommend.»

«Wonderful people own the property. A great Breakfast is cooked every morning. The pool, grounds and area around the property are beautiful. Clean rooms, hot water and excellent service. Be careful what car you use as the dirt roads leading to the property get a bit rough. Otherwise there is not negative thing I could say. I will definitely be returning to these gorgeous cabins soon! «Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. Kenneth and Allen were so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond with a smile. And breakfast every morning ...

«The property is 1,5 km from the ferrylanding, mostly uphill. Without a car you need to walk or pay the taxidriver whatever he asks (5000 colon, which seemed to be a ripoff for this distance). The little cabin is on a closed private hillside property with a nice secluded beach. The proximity of bioluminescence tours are its advantage.
