«Woodland Glen is a good hotel in great quiet setting. The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and the owners were friendly and welcoming. A number of restaurants were within a few minutes drive. Definitely worth seeing the Glow worm Dell at night after dinner. The breakfast provided was of a high standard and delicious. We would be happy to stay here again.»

Right next to the Redwood forest and walking distance or a short Uber away from the city center. «Great view from our ocean-facing room. It was a cool night and they eqipped the room with an electric heater, so it was cozy. Breakfast provided several options for a continental service with tea and coffee in the room.»

To sum it up in a nutshell, we will always prefer to stay at Braemar any time we should visit Auckland in the future. The place is singularly charming and comfortable. We were offered help and assistance way beyond our expectations. Braemar on Parliament street is highly recommended. »

«We booked through Hotels.com well in advance of our visit but on arrival Bryan was not expecting us. Fortunately there was a room available. A nice continental breakfast was left out for us which was cereal, croissant, apple puffs or toast. We had a decent sized room with bathroom and toilet down the corridor. This would have been shared but there were no other residents when we stayed. The bed was very comfortable. Bryan was v. helpful and provided a list of local restaurants and take always.»
