Hotell med stil midt i kjernen
Veldig bra service. Hotellet var under oppussing sonm nærmet seg slutten. Så rommet vi fikk var kjempefint. Noe støy på dagtid da de pusset opp i andre etager, men etter en klage fra oss fikk vi en veldig hyggelig kompensasjon.

En perle
The Tower at New York Palace er et helt supert hotell med masse komfort og særs hyggelig betjening. Spaavdelingen er kjempe bra, og treningsmulighetene i trimavdelingen er ypperlige. Vi bor på dette hotellet hver gang vi er i New York og storkoser oss der. Hotellet ligger også meget sentralet på Manhatten i nærheten av Central Park. Dette er et hotell vi absolutt vil reise tilbake til og som vi anbefaler på det sterkeste.

Towers of New York Palace
Vi booket oss inn på en juniorsuite på the Towers og ble ved ankomst oppgradert til en fantastisk hjørne suite i 46 etg med vakker utsikt over byen. Den private cluben for gjestene på Towers var helt super; nydelig frokost og veldig praktisk med muligheten til å slappe av der med god mat og forfriskninger gjennom hele dagen når det var behov for det. Hotellet ligger veldig flott til mellom 50 og 51 gate på Madison, rett ved Saks fifht og kort vei til Rockefeller center og MoMA, for å nevne noe. Hotelservicen var bra, de var og veldig behjelplig med bordreservasjoner og privat transport til og fra flyplassen. Vil absolutt dra tilbake hit igjen. Anbefales! (Det eneste minuset, som også var nevnt i en annen anmeldelse, var at de som bodde på Towers måtte benytte to forskjellige heissett for å komme mellom rommene og club'en. Dette fremsto som litt rart ettersom det jo var Towers-gjenstene som kunne benytte cluben, men vi ble fort vant til det)

AMAZING!!!
Super sentralt til absolutt alt! Bodde her i 5 netter på etg. 52, perfekt utsikt over Midtown, St Patrick og Upper Fifth Avenue. Personalet var helt fantastiske, topp service fra ankomst til avgang. Rolig område rundt hotellet, perfect for en "kom-bort" weekend. Ingen tvil om at vi kommer til å bo her igjen ved vårt neste NY-besøk!

Anbefales!
Rommene er store og flotte, og man blir møtt av en behagelig duft i det man kommer inn. Rommet mitt hadde egen minibar, men det koster penger om man ønsker noe fra den. Et lite minus at det ikke finnes prisliste til minibaren på rommet. Kan være at prisene hadde blitt oppgitt om man kontaktet resepsjonen. Rommet hadde også egen gratis safe til oppbevaring av verdisaker. Utsikten fra mitt rom var utmerket selv om jeg ikke hadde vindu mot St. Patrick Cathedral. Det er rengjøring av rommene to ganger daglig. Selve opplevelsen av rommet og hotellet er det ikke mye å utsette på. Allikevel vil jeg bemerke at ved innsjekking foretar hotellet en reservasjon på kredittkortet som fungerer som et slags "depositum". Beløpet er 150 dollar per dag. Dette er mye penger, men det blir jo betalt tilbake ved utsjekking dersom rommet er i like fin stand, og minibaren er urørt. Klubbtilgang var etter min mening ikke noe å skryte av. Det var vanskelig å få sitteplass ved alle måltider. Det var kun frokosten som innfridde forventningene. Min medreisende og jeg er enige om at maten ved de andre måltidene ikke var særlig god på smak. Den så bare fancy ut. Likte ingen av rødvinene i klubben. Jeg kunne like så godt ha kjøpt en flaske vin jeg likte, og hatt den på hotellrommet. Ser ikke bort fra at rødvinen kanskje blir bedre etter et par slurker ;) For de som ikke drikker alkohol er det brus i kjøleskapet. Alt i alt vil jeg anbefale hotellet, men ikke klubbtilgang. Oppfordrer til å spise andre steder hvor man vet at maten alltid er god, og hvor man ikke har problemer med å finne seg sitteplasser.

This hotel is in the best location to EVERYTHING. The service is impeccable. The elevators in the Towers are a MAJOR problem. Even with use of the 3rd service elevator, had to sometimes wait 10 minutes for an open elevator. It was so bad it overshadowed much of the incredible service on behalf of the staff. The fact that none of the staff acknowledged or apologized for the elevators was irritating though.

We were treated well and our room was a renovated one with an eastern exposure and a spectacular view from the 53rd floor. The blackout shade was a bit disheveled so it let in light in the morning and someone left the alarm clock on so it went off just before 6am and woke us all up. That was not pleasant. Aside from that we will definitely return next time we go see a show. So much more fun than driving in and back in the same night.

Roomy room near Rockefeller center
Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Elevators are speedy. Hotel is elegant and clean. Perfect room size for a family of 4. When we arrived early, we were notified that our room was ready early and allowed to gain access without additional fees. SUPER appreciated this since we’re tired from travel. Location is convenient and walkable to many shops and restaurants including Central Park. Would definitely stay again!
