Hyggelig hotell med sentral beliggenhet
The Frederic hotel ligger sentralt til på Manhatten. Ikke langt fra Freedom Tower (One world trade center) og ca 30 minutter å spasere til West Village/Greenwich village. Bruker man sykkel (bysykkel stativ like ved hotellet) tar det under 10 minutter. Personalet var svært hyggelige, det ligger en restaurant vegg i vegg som hotellet har en frokost deal med. Rommet vårt var forholdsvis lite og uten utsikt, men rommet var relativt rimelig og det meste er trangt på Manhatten.

Great Location
Amazing loaction. So close to everything, cute cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to Soho, with all the shopping. The staff was also super friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Lekkert og sentralt
Tilbrakte 5 netter på the Frederick i oktober. Nyrenovert, lekkert hotell i TriBeCa i litt maskulin stil som sto til forventningen bildene hadde skapt. Vi var forberedt på at rommet var knøttlite, siden vi hadde bestilt den minste romkategorien, men små rom er helt vanlig på Manhattan. Skap til sko, jakker mm. Strykejern og hårføner. Gode senger, rent og ryddig, men den største oppturen var badet, som var lyst og lekkert med det store, gamle kartet over Manhattan i dusjen. Eneste minuset ved oppholdet var dagslyset - vinduet vårt vendte rett inn i en nabobygning et par meter unna, og det var derfor verken utsikt eller særlig dagslys. Servicen var vennlig, personalet alltid hyggelig og hjelpsomme, hotellbaren og lobbyen var stilfull. Frokosten på hotellets restaurant Serafina var så god at vi spiste der nesten hver dag selv om det ikke var frokost inkludert i oppholdet vårt. Kjempefint å sitte i de store vinduene og følge med på livet utenfor. Beliggenheten er knall - TriBeCa er et avslappet strøk sammenlignet med f.eks hektiske Midtown, men likevel med god New York-puls. Koselige kafeer og restauranter. Gåavstand til SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy, NoLiTa og Financial District, og med T-banen rett utenfor hotellinngangen er veien uansett kort til resten av byen. Ville helt klart anbefalt The Frederick til andre, og bor der gjerne igjen selv.

Overall, a very good choice for the neighborhood and price. Staff and service EXCELLENT. Dining options in hotel, and within a few blocks - EXCELLENT. Continental (full!) breakfast included - EXCELLENT. Queen size bed, lovely Frette sheets and towels. Nice "rainshower" shower head, very good water pressure. Overall, hotel very clean, but short of pristine. Probably time for a deep clean of molding and trim, carpeting, telephones. Handicap accessible room was very small with only a night table doubling as a tiny desk with one shallow (4-inches deep) drawer. Closet cut in half to accommodate mini-frig, so not able to hang a dress (used the shower rod). Doorways wide enough and bathroom large enough for handicap accessible, but just a regular tub (impossible for handicapped), not a walk-in shower (which is pictured for some rooms on the website). My room was very quiet (located side of building at alley way), but very small window, zero sunlight and drafty, alleyway view. Stayed a week; fine for my single person, business trip needs. Two persons in that room would be difficult. I would certainly go back.

Old hotel but completely renovated inside. Room small but bathroom new. Quietest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. No water pipe noise, outside noise, hall noise. Free delicious breakfast in restaurant attached. Close to World Trade Center.

This is our third time staying at this hotel. It’s gorgeous and in a great neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff at the front desk are always very receptive and helpful The breakfast that was included was a huge disappointment.. they were out of everything, no eggs, no creamer, no fruit, no croissants … it was a 20 minute wait to get the creamer refill… and we ended up having to go to the restaurant down the block (Pan Quitioden) The walls are absolutely thin so bring a white noise machine for the evening.
