The pros of this property, The staff was actively helping us whenever we needed with cleaning. It was accessible in terms of transportation and cheap relatively to downtown.

Although we like the hotel and staff, I felt like they were threatening me my entire visit. There were THREE warnings about the fine for smoking/no smoking signs in a room about 350 sq. foot room. Don’t enter here! Don’t enter there! No bringing food to room! Don’t use heat-in-package foods, or you pay cost if fire dept. responds. It was excessive.

No services whatsoever. One desk clerk with limited English. Just a dingy lobby, front desk and an elevator. Lots of street noise even on 5th floor. Airport shuttle servive amounts to "Get taxi." Coffee service is 2 paper packets of instant coffee and a hot pot in the room. Shower worked fine.

Good value for the money in this location. Literally walk out the door and find shops and restaurants, with much more within easy walking distance. Only negative was that the breakfast bar becomes crowded in the morning, but this is NYC.

Property do not have parking. You can park in nearby private parking for $25 a night or street parking. At night you will have a challenge to find street parking.

We stayed there one night before a flight from LGAirport. We enjoyed the neighborhood…it felt like we were in Hong Kong…busy, lively, exotic. And a quick Huber ride to airport. We took #7 subway into Manhattan. It felt safe. We’d stay there again. Room was spacious and very clean.

The room and lobby were both fairly clean. We had 2 towels and 3 hand towels. No wash clothes or floor mat. Walls were super thin and could hear most guest rooms around us. Evening desk person was rude about our parking ticket given to us by the garage where they instructed us to park as well as is posted in their lobby.

Check in was super quick. Rooms were clean along with bathrooms were super clean. Breakfast was very basic but helps to keep you satisfied. No maid service it seems unless u ask for it did not know that until we called to ask if anyone was coming to clean and fill the coffee etc in the room. Guy says if u want sure will have it done. I said yes please we go out at 11. After we got back at 4 no one cleaned so stayed another night with room not cleaned for 3 days. So over all nice place to stay but ask for for u need when needed..

I have stayed at this hotel three years in a row for the NY Mets Opening Day. The room is simple, with no refrigerator and only one ice maker, which is on the 6th floor. The free breakfast is excellent and the dining room is always spotless. The staff is not been overly friendly, but they are very good at their jobs and very professional. If you just need a place to stay that is clean and affordable, this is the perfect place

From the time I checked in to my early departure, the staff were very courteous and helpful. I have stayed at many hotels and motels and I found this hotel to be one of the best. If I had the opportunity to visit NYC again, I would definitely consider this location again. The one issue that I have found not just in this location, but in many places that i have stayed at, is the practice of placing some type of monetary hold against your credit card. I am not certain what this accomplishes, but as a senior citizen I find this practice very unsettling. When I asked when would the hotel release the $100 hold, I was told three to five business days.
