«If you enjoy historical, older facilities, this is nice. The common area was beautifully restored. Nice Happy Hour and breakfast. Hot beverages were available 24/7, along with complementary soft drinks. Nice plus. Drawback, if you like modern, this is not for you. The very small TV is in the corner of the room and not really able to view. »

«We recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Calistoga. Chateau de Vie was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The property and surroundings were superb with many "pinch myself is this real moments". The pool and hot tub were a plus. Our hosts were gracious and attentive to anything we may need. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts on the patio. We are already planning our next trip back to this charming place. »

«The stay was amazing, except for the mattress and pillows in Suite 1! I felt like the mattress was contemporary with the antique furnishings… the owner and her employees are great… but the mattress in that suite should reflect the luxury of everything else!»

Gregg and Lynn are amazing hosts that truly welcome their guests and make them feel like family. «Everyone enjoyed the property - both the house and location, walkable to St. Helena. We truly appreciated having soaps and other toiletries available. The best rooms are on the main floor. I didn't hear any complaints from our five couples besides maybe the need to update the front porch furniture. The home owners were very available the two times we briefly needed assistance.
