The quiet solitude was perfect. Sitting on the porch, next to the fire pit sharing a bottle of wine with wide open vistas in front of us. Perfect weekend getaway.

Nice and peaceful! The staff, starting with owner, Biden to the managers, were great. The entire property is very well maintained, no issues! Definitely would stay here again, and highly recommended

Very cute and clean. Only issue we’re the beds. Quite squeaky and loud with movement, not very comfortable. But everything else was just perfect.

We understand that you are disappointed, but we did send 3 separate email confirmations, and text messages for both of the reservations you made for our property. We also called to confirm both reservations. We were unresponsive to all. You did not show up for your first reservation at all, and you arrived at our gate for your second reservation a day later than your scheduled arrival date. Your phone call was dropped and when we tried to immediately call back you did not pick up. We drove to the gate to meet you but you had already left. It is unfortunate that you did not give us an opportunity to meet you and correct any communication errors.

James and Kelly are the most amazing hosts. The property is so relaxing. Makes you feel like you are HOME. We have been 3 times and are going to return soon. Thank you for all of your hospitality

It was nice and quiet. Is a great place to get away for the weekend; You are able to enjoy sit out at night and enjoy the sky full of stars. They have deers on the property and my 3 year old was so excited to see. We got to meet the property owners and they are really nice and down to earth people. Thank you for a great weekend!

Wonderful little get away! Right off the interstate but secluded enough for a perfect get away. Lovely owners. Cute cabins, clean and all the basics. Bring some groceries and stay the weekend or use it as the perfect base in between trips to nearby Kerrville, Fredericksburg, or even San Antonio (little further out). So relaxing. Glamping. RV hook ups.

Very quiet, nature surrounding with deer, pool, hot tub and firepit nearby. Super duper friendly. I'd definitely go back!! Owners are so proud of their cabins and super helpful.

Cowboys and Angels was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with my husband. We loved the rustic, slower paced life the country brought. It was memorial weekend and they didn't raise their rates as others had. The owners took interest in each of their guests. We had the best time whole staying there.

It is an R&R (rest and retreat) instead of a B&B. Each cabin is unique. The owners are awesome and over the top friendly. We will be going back.

A very nice retreat.
This is such a beautiful property, well maintained and services thoughtfully provided. We were welcomed by the owner and made to feel at home. Our stay was a very nice experience and we will return.

The pool was not in use hot tub needed a surrounding was just stuck out in the middle of nowhere. Room had not been clean well had animal hairs on the furniture. Had a back door that was not secure our front door with private locks. Pictures that we saw on expedia.com we’re not the same as being there.

Thank you for your feed back. We apologize for the pool and hot tub. We suffered significant damage and loss during the recent ice storm when we were without power or water for 17 days. We have worked tirelessly to prepare the property for guests and their comfort. We will pass along your comments concerning cleaning to the appropriate staff.

We stayed in Garrets outpost the room was in excellent condition and cleanliness. Quiet and relaxing . The staff was attentive and friendly. Waking up to and having coffee in your porch and having no outside noises only nature was wonderful. Kids can play without a problem is only 25 min from Kerville.

Awesome hill country destination. Comfort and Bourne have Fredericksburg beat. The open cross grotto in Kerrville is a spiritual awakening for Christians.

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway, and had such a magical time. Was great to be in the country, in open space, and to take time to ourselves. The cabin charming and well equipped, and right next to the pool and bbq area. The owners were fantastic. Highly recommend - will be bcak for sure.

Lovely, relaxing and dog friendly
Lovely place to stay and relax with our dogs. The bath house is very clean and close. We spent so much time outside on the double swing, grilling and at the pool. Also enjoyed playing Cornhole and the beautiful Texas night sky. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night and are already planning our next stay.
