When I arrived at the hotel after my flight, it was 2am already. I was informed that they no longer had a room for me due to "maintenance issues", and if I wanted to find another place to stay I could check Google as to what was around and available. It took me 3 hours to find a hotel that had an available room that was an hour away, which I finally got at 5am. Since this was not my issue, Red Rod needed to have informed me of this issue earlier and tried to help me find a new place to stay. I almost had to sleep in my rental car. Not professional at all for leaving me stranded.

After arriving at approximately 1AM after a 7 hour drive from Chicago the room (141) we were originally given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the toilet had been used and not flushed. The sheets were actually dirty as well. The front desk tried to give us another room (149) however upon inspection we just were not comfortable staying there so we returned our key and left. We did not give them our credit card as we had reserved through Expedia and so they said they could not issue a refund and that we would have to go through Expedia for that. The staff tried to be helpful but they were having lots of problems with other rooms as well.

They didn’t have any clean towels, the tv barely stayed on the wall, the air didn’t work and it says there is a mini fridge and it didn’t have one. The front desk people were very rude. I would give it a 2 out of 10. I don’t recommend this hotel at all. The outside grounds were also very dirty. We found evidence of someone smoking crack in our bathroom so that means it wasn’t cleaned properly!!!!

Run, don’t stay here.
As a traveling nurse I frequent hotels in different states and not all commercial properties share the same owners so booking with certain ones is a gamble!! I will probably never book a Red Roof again. Several rooms that were dirty had been driving several hours and had to work within an hour. Terrible! Filthy rooms, housekeepers aren’t keeping rooms clean. Trash bags (MANY) all over property. Renovations?! They need to close, locks broken, heaters busted up not working! I can’t believe I didn’t get my money back.

This is the dirtiest rooms we have EVER SEEN! The shower was so dirty we could not take a shower. 3 of the lights in the room didn't work. When i told then how dissatisfied I was they told me to just leave then. My husband was a trucker for 35 years and he said that is the dirtiest room he's EVER SEEN! WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK!

The heat unit wouldn’t work. I called the front desk and the guy said he’d send maintenance to come fix it . They never came . I asked to switch rooms and he wouldn’t accommodate me. He was very rude.

Didn’t get the service I was expecting 1. The room I got had a Water leak in early Friday morning, I went to front desk to change room, had me wait for 15 minutes because he didn’t want change room in his shift. 2. In the new room , there where holes in the bedsheet and blankets ,asked to replace , cleaning person, took bedsheets , gave me just blanket, as she didn’t have bedsheets, 3. AC unit was making terrible noise couldn’t sleep well at for entire stay, Overall not a good experience

First room was prepped and displayed as set, but it was never cleaned. Shower was filthy, sheets were dirty, floor was disgusting, lights over sink were not functioning. Second room seemed cleaned, floor was still dirty, lights over sink in this room did not function either. Front desk individuals were nice, had no issue switching rooms, but the property needs updating and some sort of quality assurance for checking housekeepers doing there jobs.

First off not a single HD channel worked on the TV set, then the other half the channels were so full of static that it was hard to make out what the announcer was saying and could barely make out even yo watch a football game on the TV. All 3 HBOs including Discover, animal planet, history and one more of my all time favorite channels would not come in at all. The drain in the sink drained so slow I couldn't even wash my hands after using the restroom in fear of it backing up and overflowing. The curtainbup right by the front door and on the main window is broken hanging down almost where other guests could almost be able to look into the room and see what all I and other guests wete doing. Complete waste of my money!!!!
