Great location and great service!
Location was beautiful on the lake Como with amazing views from the room. service was great! Ferries going frequent to other locations on lake como 2 min walking distance from the hotel.

Absolutely horrible service, staff were very rude and not welcoming. Felt like being treated as a dog. I came with a big backpack looking abit rough and they treated me horrendus, one should never judge a persons character based on their looks. The location is great and the view from the swimming pool is astonishing but thats about it. The walls are paper thin and i could hear the neighbour rooms talking, the noise from the street is also very loud at all hours too. Breakfast is really bad and not worth it, not even fruits or anything. Just plain bread with some cheese and ham. Was not sure if i had breakfast included so i asked the receptionist, he confirmed so i grabbed some food and in just seconds the waitress grabbed the plate from me and asked me to pay her or leave. Never experienced something like this before. Overall i would not recommend. Really overpriced for being a outdated cheap hotel and the staff acts superfiscial.

Stedet er ok. Hotellet har ikke egen restaurant. Spiste der en dag, relativt dyrt. Mat var kun ok i forhold til forventningene.

Central and convenient hotel
I had a nice stay and got a room with a beautiful view over the lake. The staff was nice and helpful with parking, while the staff by the pool was not very friendly (pool area closes at 19:00 and got kicked away in a quite rude manner).

Fin beliggenhet.
Veldig sentralt hotel,fin beliggenhet. Frokost o.k. men svært dårlig kaffe. Personalet burde smile mer. Harde senger som vi ofte opplever i Italia.

Trenger oppgradering
Trivelig lite sted med flere hyggelige restauranter og butikker. Hyggelig betjening og nydelig mat, men trenger en oppgradering all over. Møbler og interiør på rommet var under enhver kritikk. Godt vi skulle være bare en natt for den senga var grusom.

Beliggenhet, ikke komfort.
Greit hotell, men et absolutt MUST med sjøutsikt og IKKE street view. Det ene gir sjøskvulp og balkong, mens det andre gir kun vindu ut mot svært støyende gate. Rommet vårt var upraktisk lite og sengene var vonde. Men man reiser da ikke til comosjøen for å være på hoteller. Hotellet ligger rett i sentrum av Menaggio, og rett ved fergeleiet som frakter deg til alle de andre utrolige byene rundt sjøen. Hotellet har parkeringskjeller,og det er greit siden det er svært vanskelig finne parkering. PS. Om du tenker på å kjøre rundt sjøen er det en fordel å være stødig sjåfør da de veiene er SMALE og tempoet høyt.

Was a great property all in all, we booked it last minute so decent price for the day of. Food was great, location was great, staff great. Only issue we had was bed was a bit hard but that's also personal preference!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Bellavista in Menaggio, Lake Como, Italy. The location was fantastic to explore the local Italian villages, and the city of Menaggio was delightful! The Hotel staff was very helpful and informative. We had panoramic balcony views from our rooms, providing an excellent Lake Como view! The location was close to the Ferry terminal, providing easy access to Verena, Bellagio, and Como during our stay. We had a fantastic meal the last night at the hotel restaurant. Of particular note, we had a great experience with Christiana, a local server and waitress. She was most helpful and courteous to us during our stay. This hotel is highly recommended to others!

The rating I gave was generous. There was no hot water for the shower both days, and the walls are paper thin. I also cut myself pretty badly on the shower door the last day, and the staff just gave me plasters. No apologies, just some comment about how there should have been plastic covering on it. I showed them the huge gash on my leg. Clearly there was not a cover. The only thing this place has going for it is the view.

first of all we are sorry for the issue but we sent up the maintance to check and nothing was broken so we do not know what happenedYou just asked for the plasters and we provided them to you, we asked if you needed anything else and you answered no and you said you were in a hurry to take the ferry

Very clean property. Steps away from the ferry terminal and walkable distance to restaurants and to explore the town. We had a wonderful stay. We just were located beside the stairwell which was a bit loud at times throughout the early evening / night. But otherwise stunning views, friendly staff, and great breakfast and dinner menus. Would stay again.

The view to the lake was amazing! The pool was very enjoyable. General look of the hotel is slightly dated, but the room was surprisingly modern and super clean, as well as spacious.

Good location
Great location only a few minutes from the town and ferry port. Day staff are okay but the night manager is a bit rude to guests. Bar staff are very friendly. The hotel is a little dated but clean. Pool was open and a nice temperature to swim (early September) Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed there for 3 nights in the attic rooms in August, wasn’t too hot, amazing views and good room! It is very close to the ferry and all the shops in Menaggio! I would stay here again!

Great location with every room overlooking the water. We had a balcony which was great to watch the sunset and have a drink. The ferry wax nearby as was a bus stop. The staff were mostly friendly but unfortunately we encountered a rude staff member at the restaurant and did not go back.

Absolutely perfect location within the town. Very easy to find with or without a sat nav. The view from the rooms out onto the lake are beautiful and having such a huge bed is a real plus. They have powerful showers which is also really good thing. You must eat at the in house restaurant, the food really is flavoursome and fairly priced. If you ask for parking upon arrival, it is helpful as it can be busy around the streets. We will defiantly stay there again.

The good, the bad and the ugly. Wonderful setting, room and prices. Great breakfast. One ugly: At 230 am during our first night, the fire alarm went off. Down the staircase we went (dodgy carpet and under lit) from the fourth floor until my wonderful wife fell on the second floor landing, twisting her ankle. After going outside in the rain with no help from staff, we finally filtered our way back to the hotel lobby and practically had to beg for ice. Initially, and for the next four days, despite some subtle hints, we basically received no concern or sympathy from the staff. The injured ankle put a limit on our ability to enjoy the holiday. Again, nice place but do a little bit more when there’s a (false) fire alarm and someone gets hurt.

Super friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable room. Easy parking. Great location for exploring the town and taking a ferry across the lake. Would say that on this occasion we were in a street facing room; the shutters and double glazed windows did very little to lessen the street noise. Traffic died off eventually so we had a good night’s sleep. Shower cubicle is tiny and there is nowhere to put your cosmetics within. The shortcomings are taken into account with the price, which seems like good value! We’ll pay more for a lakeside room again next time, but there wasn’t one available on this visit.
