A nice stay after crusing.
Flott plassering for vårt korte opphold i Melbourne. Like ned bakken til Akvariet som vi besøkte og Hopp on and off bussen, og fri trikk. Flott parkområde langs med elva og mange restauranter der. Like bak hotellet, til høyre for inngang og til høyre igjen fant vi koselig engelsk pub, Sherlock Holmes. I will recommend the Hopp on and off Bus and stopp in Victoria Market, open even on a Sunday-

Overpriset wifi - kun 30 min gratis ila 24 timer. Hotellrommene er noe slitt, men veldig romslig. Servicen var stort sett bra.

Veldig fin hotell å bo på sentralt i Melbourne. Kjempe stort hotellrom med hybelkjøkken! Nesten som en minileilighet. Likte hotellet kjempe godt !

Clean, good, central - but way too expensive WiFi
Good, clean hotel with spacious rooms in central Melbourne. Only drawback is that they charge an outrageous amount for WiFi. That's something that belongs to the past.

Ok hotel with nice pool, wifi not included
Stayed there for 6 nights during a conference at the nearby convention center (20 minutes walk). Hotel was clean and generally in good condition. Nice pool big enough for some swimming. Wifi not included and expensive. In the price range of this hotel I would have expected free wifi in the rooms. Also, don't expect help with luggage (at least if not specifically asked for). If you have leftover food when you leave, bring it to the homeless under the bridge by the river, i was appreciated.

Good location and fit for purpose. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Massive influx of guests relating to AFL matches so got congested which was expected for lift times and humans congregating around the concierge areas etc. Room was in need of maintainance work. Toilet inlet valve kept inleting water, broken trim around toilet buttons and under toilet seat, drawer in cupboard fell apart when pulled out. Would stay again hoping maintenance issues are addressed.

Good Location 2 min walk to tram stop, and free trams in the CBD. We stayed on the 13th Floor so above the surrounding office buildings. Rooms were clean and nice. TV was a little small. Some of the bathroom ares showing age but everything worked.

The room was fantastic on the first day, but upon returning for the second day, we found our beds unmade and no fresh towels provided. When inquired, we were informed it wasn't included in our package, which was quite surprising and disappointing.

Smelly, mouldy, dirty.. still charged us
We checked out within 30 mins of arriving. The room had a bad smell of food/grease, a dirty greasy extractor fan, mould and hair in the shower, toilet paper spit balls on the ceiling, grimy surfaces, and lacked ventilation. A ball of toilet paper covered the fire sprinkler, the air conditioning was ineffective and the place overall was dated. The manager refused to issue a full refund and still charged us $200 as a "goodwill gesture" even though we checked out immediately and without touching the room. Although another room was offered to us, the evident lack of cleanliness over a period of time showed it was clearly not a one-off issue. Despite being the weekend of the Taylor Swift concert, we found a much nicer and clean hotel two blocks away, last minute for a comparable price.

This hotel is showing it's age, everything is looking rather tired, and the amenities and fixtures are dated. I mean, I think that we're well past having showers located in the bath. It's an obvious hazard, particularly as we are all getting older! Whilst breakfast was included, choices for cereal were limited, although the eggs cooked to order were good, if one was lucky with the chef! Also, basic things like milk running out on at least two occassions over fives days, suggest that the staff aren't checking on these frequently enough. We probably won't stay here again.

Stairs at only entrance or needing to use a wheelchair lift was not ideal for having a child in a pram. Bathroom grout could have used a deep clean. Otherwise was excellent and loved the $60 late 4pm check out option. Nice pool and close to DFO / south warf.

I loved this property for many reasons, the staff were amazing and so polite, the room was beautiful, and it was clean and affordable. I would stay here again for sure, and likely will. I did find the bed uncomfortable and hard and the partition down the middle was uneven. I will likely go for a queen bed if I stay again rather than the king. I did order room service and was looking forward to that but in all honesty it wasn't very good and so I ordered uber eats the rest of my stay. There were some crumbs and dust inside some of the cupboards but it was easily overlooked I'm guessing. Overall I still think this is one of the nicest places I've stayed in this price range.

Good hotel, bad experience
Large space with lounge area and kitchen; pool and spa facilities; room service available; good location. Would rate this hotel above its sister on Collins. However, due to an incident involving my room being unlocked by staff during the night to allow access to someone claiming to be a hotel guest, I won't stay here again - staff were apologetic but unfortunately it tainted things from a safety and security perspective.
