Aircondition virket ikke. Veldig harde senger. Hotellet virker slitt og trenger oppgradering for å beholde sine 5 stjerner. Store rom og badekåper på rommet er dog et pluss. Det er også et serviceinnstilt personale.

Flott hotell med fantastisk service! Rommene trenger likevel en oppgradering da tiden begynner å vise tegn. Frokosten får 10 av 10 - flott utvalg! Hadde vært bra om bassenget var oppvarmet. Alt i alt - anbefales!

Supert hotell for par som ønsker fred og ro.
Et flott hotell med en meget høflig og serviceminded innstilling fra personalet. Ingen problemer under hele oppholdet. Stille og rolig atmosfære, intet bråk fra andre gjester, få barn. Flott område rundt det store bassenget, også her var det fred og ro. Ingen støy fra gaten utenfor. Intet innsyn til terrassen vår.

Not a 5 star. I had a junior suite and it was nice and newly renovated but the smell of cellar and humid air in the room was not nice. the location of the suite, ground floor in a corner far away from the reception was not good. The bed was excellent. Had to pay €40 to get an early checkin. Not good service for a 5 star.

Very nice hotel!
We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! Very nice hotel. Amazingly big room over three levels with balcony facing pool area and evening sun (also had a spare room/guest room!). Type of room: Superior. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Keep in mind that this is a 5 star hotel so drinks, food etc is expensive (10€ for a Gin&Tonic). I can definitley recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Et svært behagelig og godt feriehotell. God service. God mat. Hyggelig 5 min. spasertur fra hotellet ned til stranden og bassenget ved stranden som var helt nydelig. Serviceminded personell. Så bra at vi valgte stort sett å benytte oss av de faciliteter som hotellet kunne tilby under vårt opphold. Vi har over hodet ingen problemer med å anbefale dette hotellet både for par og familier, og ser heller ikke bort i fra at vi kan velge dette igjen. Scorer høyt pga godt tilbud i forhold til pris.

Los Monteros is an older style 5 star Hotel, it originally dates from 1963. There are parts which could do with a refresh, but it has a certain mid century charm that I like and the staff and service are excellent. The breakfast is good too. Our room dated from about 2002, but was still very clean and spacious. The beach club which is separate from the Hotel was a bit of a dissapointment, and all at extra cost, pretentious, but without the service to match and all seems a bit of a rip off when you're already paying top dollar for your room.

Sehr kinderfreundlich, sie dürfen in den Erwachsenenpool pinkeln und kaken, obwohl ein Kinderpool vorhanden wäre. Im La Cabae müssen Hotelgäste Tage im Voraus Liegen reservieren und dafür bezahlen. „Gehöre nicht zum Hotel“. Halbpension Menuekarte wechselt kaum, für Vegetarier tagelang das gleiche Angebot: Gemüsewoak. Keine Garnitur auf Teller,absolut lieblos und fad.

Doesn’t feel like a 5 star
First thing to be aware of is the false advertising that is on their website/travel agent/google when searching for this hotel. It will show an incredible pool with cabanas and the sea in the background, when in fact that is a separate beach club 10min drive away that you need to pay for (La Cabane). The pool at the hotel that is for guest use is okay, but can be busy with kids and generally the sun beds are very close together with limited number of parasoles. Felt a bit more like a 3 star than any luxury hotel I have stayed at before. Service is rather poor in the breakfast area and the hotel bar area. The servers don’t seem to care for any of the guests and generally are quite rude. The waiters are so heavy handed, we could not wait to finish breakfast to get away from the noise/clanging. Never a relaxing start to the day The location is about a 10min drive to the centre of Marbella/Old Town (taxi is c. €12 one way). Generally speaking you will need a car/take taxis everywhere as there is nothing walking distance. This hotel is very secluded, not even a supermarket in easy walking distance or a little minimart available on premise. So just be warned you will need to spend extra cash to get to places/do things as there is very little available on site. We stayed in a 2 bed suite, the rooms are ok size however the 2nd bedroom has no windows to outside. It is a room that you go to the toilet in, shower in, and sleep in with a window that opens up to the corridor only

Firstly, I would like to inform you that La Cabane Beach Club is the beach club of Hotel Los Monteros 5*GL located in front the sea and inside the resort. It is exactly at 400 metres from the hotel reception, and we offer a free shuttle service during the opening hours as well as special rates for guests, but it is not a service included in any hotel stay. On the other hand, as you can see, Hotel Los Monteros 5*GL has an area of more than 25,000 square meters of consolidated tropical gardens with a solarium area where there are enough free sunbeds for all guests by two hotel pools, one of them exclusively for children. In the same way, our establishment is a familiar hotel concept in the middle of Marbella Golf Mile, surrounded by amazing golf courses, nature and astonishing beaches: a perfect quiet environment to rest, just 5 minutes from the old town of Marbella. Regarding your comments about our hotel category, I would like to inform you that Hotel Los Monteros Spa & Golf Resort meets all requirements, facilities and services that the law provides to display the category of 5 stars GL in Spain. These requirements are not based on personal preferences, but on the facilities and services that the Hotel offers to all guests. Our aim is to offer our guests a relaxing holiday, a unique experience exceeding their expectations. That is the reason why we always try to resolve our guest’s requests as soon as possible. According to our records, you never informed us about any inconvenience with your room. In this case, as soon as we had known it, you would have been immediately offered another room category available because Hotel Los Monteros 5*GL has 11 room categories with different designs and views. Stayed two nights for my hen do. In general, amazing hotel! Five star indeed! Even from days before our trip, they have been very helpful answering all our queries. Very efficient indeed especially Antonio who has been very patient with all my questions. Where do I start: As gold member, already got the free spa. They also allowed us free early check in and gave us free 8 glasses of cava. Rooms are brilliant. Spacious and spotless. Double room looks like a mini suite with good view from the balcony. I also love the added welcome chocolates! The spa is to die for! Been to another 5 star hotel nearby, but Los monteros spa is by far the best. Staff from the reception and bar are all very kind and friendly. After being out all day, we dropped by at the bar to relax. We didn’t order anything just yet but the friendly staff instantly gave us glasses of water and nibbles for free. They even allowed us to roam around the hotel with our photographer for photos. They really took care of us. The breakfast was amazing! First class indeed, so make sure to include it to your booking! Only downside is not walking distance to city centre but taxis/uber are always available and only costs us €4-€10 for four people. There is Aldi supermarket 10mins walking distance from the hotel. Beach is also walking distance. I can’t say about their famous La Cabane beach club as it was still closed when we visited. Nevertheless, will definitely stay here again when we visit Marbella!
