Gammelt men sentralt
Hotellet er gammelt og litt slitt. Storslått bygg men bærer preg av mange år uten fornyelse. Klesskapet og skuffene på rommet var vanskelige å åpne, og enkelte løsninger på baderommet er bare merkelige. Feks servanten hvor vannkranen er så nært kanten at det er vanskelig å få hånden under. Hotellet er meget sentralt vegg i vegg med Piccadilly Station, og en rask gåtur fra Piccadilly gardens og Northern Quarter. Helt ok hotell til en dyr pris. Hadde prisen vært lavere hadde det stått mer i stil til produktet og fått en høyere rating.

I was disappointed in the hotel, the bed was really uncomfortable, air con didn't work, so had to move rooms at midnight as it was stuffy and the blackout curtains didn't fully cover window area, so got woken up by the bright sunlight. Bad nights sleep so would not stay again.

We were quite shocked at the state of the room we were put in! It was only for a one night stay but the carpet had what looked like blood stains on it. The mattress on the bed was absolutely worn out! It sagged into the middle and was terribly uncomfortable. The room was dated to say the least and most certainly Did not reflect on the photos that are on the website. I suggest that Expedia take a good look at the hotel because what they have shown on their pictures does not reflect the low standards of the rooms of this hotel. It would be interesting to hear a reply from Expedia but I’m not expecting one.

The staff were lovely and the room was a great size. The bathroom and products were amazing. The breakfast was lovely too. The only criticism was how hard it was to find as the postcode puts you in at the main road, not at the back for the car park, so it took my husband’s previous experience as a truck driver to work out how to get in. The car park is also not clear as there are two black gates. It was also very expensive.

The property was in the middle of re-modelling and the room smell like someone had smoked a cigar in it. The staff was nice specially the breakfast staff. The room is very spacious and comfortable overall it's an average experience and plenty more room for improvements.
