«This spacious home with a huge, quiet, well-kept front and back yards was perfect for our family group and puppy. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy relaxing. Fire pit and charcoal grill were great additions. There was a gigantic turkey who entertained us morning and evening with his strut.»

«Loved our holiday weekend stay at the lake. Craig and Steve, the brothers who host the property, are right next door and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. House was clean and well kept. Property is in the perfect spot. Great family friendly atmosphere along the waterfront.»

«This spot was perfect for our group of friends with young children! The kids had a blast with the playset, hot tub, and games at the house. The adults appreciated how spacious the home was. The bedrooms were all spacious and we had plenty of hang out spots. We’re already planning another trip when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of all of the outdoor amenities!»

«We were looking for a couple of peaceful days and we found it. The cabin was wonderful, updated, cozy, and so nice and clean. There’s lots to do outdoors and we made a short trek into Manistee to enjoy the lakeshore. Tammy, the hostess, was so great to work with, too. I would gladly return.»

«My family visited primarily to ride the trails on our ATVs/ORVs. This house is super close to the trails and the kids enjoyed fishing off the peer each evening. The house was clean and the host made our check-in and check out really easy. Will most definitely book this house again!»

«Well stocked and cozy/rustic home. Master affords view of lake to enjoy beautiful sunrises as does the living room. Multi-tiered deck and a private beach for all to enjoy. Close to Traverse City, Petosky, Charlevoix, Grand Rapids, etc. We had a wonderful time enjoying nature and the changing leaves.»

«Negatives- beds aren’t so comfortable, upstairs toilet struggles to flush, had to turn on the hot water heater and the place could use a deep clean. Positives- great location, great air conditioning, nice cabin feeling and the deck outside was great to hangout on. Overall I’d stay again and would recommend to anyone.»

«Our family had a great stay..Cabin was well stocked with odds and ends in the kitchen...A boat rental service delivered a pontoon to the lake during our time there, the dock there worked great. The deck provided a good space to drink coffee or enjoy lunch with a view! Cabin was clean, wifi was strong...great place!»

«Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!»
