Fint hotell i hyggelig område. Ekstremt lytt (kan høre samtaler mellom rommene). Det var ikke noe problem for oss, men jeg vil ikke anbefale hotellet til personer som sover lett eller lar seg irritere av lyder fra andre gjester.

Kjempebra hotell
Lite men veldig koselig hotell. Litt mørkt inne men man blir vant til det. Gåavstand til massevis av butikker og spisesteder. Melrose Avenue er stort sett uavhengige butikker, alt fra Moods Of Norway til butikker som lager sceneklær for artister. Ønsker man kjøpesenter er det 15 minutter å gå til Beverly Center eller Farmers Market og The Grove. Hotellet har en liten cafe/restaurant med god mat og alle som jobber på hotellet er profesjonelle og veldig hyggelige. Hotellet har trygg og praktisk parkering i kjelleren. Rett over gaten er det et lite marked hvor man kan kjøpe kaffe, snacks, etc.

Hyggelig hotell på melrose avenue
Kom hit for en lang Helg. Fantastisk hotell med veldig hyggelig ansatte. Området er helt ok, kanskje ikke så sentralt som jeg kunne ønske, men det er egentlig ingenting i denne byen så kan vel ikke feile de for det. Rommene var rene og hyggelige. Restauranten nede i lobbyen the hart and the hunter er også å anbefale.

i was born in the neighborhood 80 years ago and the hotel gave me superb access to my old stomping-ground. BUT unless you're deaf or a very heavy sleeper, you might want to avoid the rooms on Melrose.

The lobby is great. The restaurant is great. The staff were very nice. The upstairs hall is dark and creepy. The room seemed clean but, I was nursing insect bites for days afterward — I think bedbugs. I stayed recently at the other nearby Palihotel (West Hollywood) which was much, much better with no such issues.

This is a good place to stay for a couple of nights. If it's longer it may not be as comfy. There's no closet so no drawers to put your personal items (just a wicker basket). It's not sound proof (a neighbor was playing loud music late, but I called front desk and they dealt with it immediately which was great response). Sorry, if you want to party, this is LA, find yourself a bar or club. I liked the balcony, although not much of a view I enjoyed sitting outside in the morning or being able to open the sliding glass door to get fresh air in. it's facing a quiet street. The room was hot (and I usually don't turn the air con down). I can't imagine anybody who likes cold rooms to be comfortable. Their unit controls a few rooms at a time so they only just barely turned it on for a little bit then off again. I was in there in January so I was ok but it was uncomfortably hot at times. The free morning coffee is unpredictable. I don't think they offer it on the weekend for some strange reason. It is a very pretty hotel, I loved the lobby and the special details in the room. The restaurant downstairs offers delicious breakfasts, it's convenient for a bite before heading out.

The entire building is controlled on one thermostat run. There is no way to control the temperature of your room. If someone calls the front desk and says it is cold, the entire building is blasted with heat, and vice versa. While there are multiple lights in the room, there are huge swaths of the room that get no light, making them very hard to see in. The restaurant attached changes its hours and its offering with no warning.

Staff was great. Welcoming and helpful. No AC or heating controls in the rooms. Homeless walking around in the lobby. Weird burning type smell in the elevator(that you prayed you wouldn't get trapped in) Can't buy bottled water and i had to fix the toilet twice because the float kept messing up. The room was big and nicely furnished and i guys it was OK for one night but i wouldn't bring my family here. Just had an uneasy feeling

Lovely hotel with some minor plumbing issues
This is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff in a great location within walking distance to so many things. No coffee machines in the rooms but there is free coffee in the lobby until 8am. My only complaint (and I saw the same issue in another review here) is that my shower would not drain. It wasn't too bad since I only had water up to the middle of my shins when I finished my shower, and I guess it was my own funk in there, but not ideal. I reported it to the front desk but it wasn't fixed, so I'm guessing it's a plumbing issue in Room 105 that some Drano can't resolve.

Average. Bathroom was small and akward. Toilet paper didn’t fit into the dispenser and was impossible to unroll without removing from the holder. Very weird. Some of the setup was strange. The “closet” was a mirror with hooks and a ladder leaning against a wall with some hangers. No drawers. Odd pictures of kids on the wall. Wasn’t terrible but wouldn’t book here again

Won’t stay here again.
The beds are not comfortable. Mattresses are very soft and they sag toward the middle. There was a lot of noise from the room above us late at night and very early in the morning (like 4:30am). Even the coffee that is served in the lobby was awful.

We had a nice stay. The room was as described and the decor was attractive. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The onSite restaurant was very good and convenient. The surrounding area was a little sketch and there was less we felt comfortable walking to than we had planned. Parking is also unclear and you have to call each time you want to be let in the garage. The bed was comfortable and shower was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Great location and ambience
Great location and ambiance! While the walls were thin causing us to hear the neighbors and some interior was older, the hotel had a great atmosphere and feel. The area was great, close to the gamers market great coffee places a very central.

Sanitary facilities were defective. Had to be repaired on two days. Ventilation can only be controlled centrally for various rooms. Not individually. If the neighbor has cold and the other warm, it is a constant up and down and very stressful. Bill was charged twice. Attention when entering the hotel you have to sign a form, which authorizes the hotel to make the transaction from the beginning. Normally we only pay at the end. I settled everything at the end. But I lost quality and time from my rest in the hotel. The manager didn't even offer me another room. He said they were full, although there were still 7 free on the website. And the staff also said that I should change the next day. The manager commented that if I had booked directly with the hotel, they would be more accommodating and could do something. So never book through your platform again! Horror this week. Luckily there were some on staff who were very nice and understanding and helped. For - 220.- dollars you should get a better service.

Old Property Presents Issues
The hotel is adorable and in a wonderful location. The staff, especially Evan, were amazing. However, the walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors through the walls. Also, the rooms do not have thermostats. So there is no way to control the temperature of the room. We woke up in the middle of the night and the heat was on. We were burning up and it wasn’t even cold outside. We complained the first day that we arrived that our room was hot, but nothing ever changed. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing an alley so we were nervous about sleeping with the sliding patio door open, for security reasons, so we just had to deal with it. We won’t stay here again.

After reading all the reviews I was hesitant to book. I’m very happy I ended up choosing Palihotel Melrose because my stay was amazing. It does get cold at night but the beds are extremely comfortable and the comforter will keep you warm. The location is super accessible to everything in LA and walking distance to a lot in West Hollywood. I will be recommending this to anyone in the future & will be back the next time I’m staying in weho.

Needs more light
I’ve stayed at this hotel five times and while it has character, the lighting in the bathrooms is too dark. Have run into a few plumbing problems as well. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Paid extra for a room with a balcony and the balcony was over looking a small homeless encampment. Hotel smelled great and was pretty cute but nothing to really knock my socks off
