Flott hotell, elendig rengjøring.
Flott hotell, men elendig service. Vi kom tidlig og fikk beskjed om at rommet ikker var klart. Helt greit, kom tilbake til avtalt tid, det var da kun redd opp til 2 personer, vi var 4. Ha beskjed om dette og fikk beskjed om at det ville bli fikset. Tok en tur til byen og kom tilbake for å finne at ingenting hadde skjedd, tok da turen ned igjen, nu beskjed om at det ville bli fikset. Ventet 1,5 timer til kl ca 23, da ungene begynte å bli veldig trøtte. Fikk denne gang beskjed om at housekeeping var ferdig for dagen, men at vi kunne få laken å re opp selv. Takket ja til dette, men fikk da ikke med puter. Gikk ned for å få puter, men da var de tomme for puter. Disse putene fikk vi aldri gjennom hele uken. Rommet ble rengjort en gang i løpet av 7 dager, selv ved gjentatte hendvendelser om det måtte tas. Frokosten var ok, men dårlig med spiseplass og var som regel tomt for det meste, dårlig med etterfylling. Ellers topp hotell, men i et område med mye uteliggere som kan føles noe utrygt når du går rundt med barn på kveldstid.

It was super close to the homeless center and there were homeless people sleeping in front of the door etc.

The employees at this property and neighboring property’s are currently on strike (Local 11) and they have 35 people with an orchestra outside the hotels starting at 6 a.m. sharp. The staff working is not the most pleasant and it’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is very nice.

My room wasn't ready. Noisy protestors right outside the door. I ask twice for an email receipt, still have not gotten. Breakfast was served an hour later than it was supposed to.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. The mattresses are cheap spring mattresses amd the bed sheets amd blankets are thin and rough. The hotel is near the Santa Monica pier but the neighborhood is really bad. Lots of homeless people and we didnt feel safe to walk to the pier. And then the hotel workers were on strike in the morning banging on drums and blowong horns right in front of the hotel at 7am!!!

It definitely wasn't worth the money. We found a small cockroach in the room , we informed the staff and honestly they acted quickly on it and offered to change the room and sent pest control. The complimentary breakfast was below average I would say. There was no parking , even though they do have a garage inside and they only had valet for 50 dollars a night which is absurd !

This hotel is one of only a handful of area hotels that has failed to reach a settlement with its union. I learned this the hard way at the crack of dawn when I awoke to the sounds of pandemonium outside the hotel. I learned a second lesion once my kids and I boarded the elevator. The protestors weren’t just outside of the hotel: they were freely given access to the. Real fast area with bullhorns, drums and other noisemakers. My hearing wasn’t the same after just a few minutes exposure to the noise levels. The pool area: forget it! The protests are so loud that you can’t hear yourself think. You can easily Google more to learn about this. Management ignored three separate attempts that I made fo contact them. They could care less. Honestly, I leaned a valuable lesson about crossing picket lines. Never this hotel again. Thank you in advance mr. Manager for whatever platitudes you offer on this remark. You ignored me while I was at your hotel. That’s what potential guests need to know. Caring on Expedia isn’t the same as caring while i am still a customer.

They charged a full rate for a room at a time when their employees were loudly on strike blocking the front entrance of their location shouting and banging drums. The rates should have been cut or even cancellation offered with relocation to a different property.

I was clearly informed by the valet that parking would cost $15, and there was a sign in the garage confirming this rate. However, upon checkout, I was charged $50. This was significantly higher than the $10 to $20 range typical for parking in the area. When I expressed my concern with a call to the front desk, I was told that $50 was indeed the price I was quoted. The similarity in the sound of the amounts and the substantial difference from nearby garages feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. Had I known the actual cost, I would have chosen alternative parking options across the street, where my friend paid only $20 for 24 hours.

Beautiful spacious clean hotel in Sta Monica with very adequate gym — treadmill elliptical annd peloton bike with weights and biceps machine and heated pool spa facilities. Includes regular breakfast. Coffee was great!Nice beddings and interiors. Available Spectrum channels. If you’re in the middle floors, recommend ear plugs to avoid hearing the fan and the upstairs occupants.

The staff was disinterested when trying to check in. The TV didn’t work in the room, had to call maintenance. There were no cups for the coffee maker. The room was very noisy, could hear people in room above. There was no self parking. We had to pay an extra 55.00 for valet parking. I can not recommend this hotel

Good Location & Amazing Customer Service
We stayed here one night for a little family trip. We loved the location as it is close to the third street promenade and a lot of restaurants. Girlfriend and kid loved the pool and the free morning breakfast. We decided to stay an extra night but stayed across the street at another hotel. We enjoyed or stay at the Hampton more! Did get accidentally charged for two vehicles for the overnight parking fee of $55 but called and received a refund. Would definitely come back next time I'm back in Santa Monica!
