We had a great stay! Highly recommend if you are looking to go to LA on a budget, but still stay in a convenient and safe area. The staff was soooo friendly, it was the highlight of this hotel, in addition to the rooftop. We went a few times during our 4 day stay and it was empty every time! Great views and plenty of seating. We walked to Erewhon, Trader Joes and more, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby if you don't want to take the car. Parking was convenient as well, and free! Only downsides were the towels which were quite thin, and the bars of soap. Plz add shower gel dispensers next to the shampoo/conditioner dispensers. Walls are quite thin but the hotel is very quiet so noise wasn't an issue for us.

This property was by far the cleanest and safest option for a family on a budget. The beach and pier were close, a 2 mile drive, and, Plenty of parking for the beach. Unfortunately, the price for shopping is on the very high end. It is one of the most expensive areas along the beach. There were no laundry facilities inside the hotel. Dining is mostly on the higher end as well.

On March 16 2024 at 3am I was trying to checking, I offer to pay more money. Both employees were so rude and said no we can’t do that I don’t have an option for that. I didn’t get any explanation for this or a reason in why they couldn’t check me in. The customer Service is poor won’t even give a one star on top of that the lack of communication that’s given is also poor never again book with this hotel

Thank you for your review, but I am having difficulty understanding the problem. If you had a reservation, there would be no problem checking you in, if you did not have a reservation, then there are many reasons why a 3:00am check in would not be allowed. We would never accept more money above the published rate, if you were not a guest and did not have a reservation, this review is not legitimate. Only guests of the hotel can leave a review.

Everything was great besides the bed, it was sooo uncomfy! The location, unground parking, guest services, cleaniness was good. Don’t be excited for any real free breakfast, they only have coffee or tea , & granola bar! Great balcony on rooms 4 & the rooftop deck is BEAUTIFUL, ahould really have events up there or open 24/7.

Superb Customer Service/Front desk
Hotel is very basic. Customer service of staff was superb! Authentically friendly, and accommodating. They do recycle, a plus. Water does not get hot, sufficiently warm for shower. The cleaning products used in elevator area were intense, though it was clean. They had a small refrigerator, coffee maker and small table w 2 chairs. Bfast was simple, but they did have oatmeal, so that was perfect for us. No fee for parking and lot and area was very safe in a residential neighborhood. Great for the price.

Excellent location! Room was spacious, clean and updated. Free parking! Staff VERY friendly and offered recommendations for the area. We had a rental car and this location was central to everything we wanted to see. Would definitely recommend staying here!

It was exactly like I expected. A bit older hotel but well kept. Room was updated and very clean. I had no issues and slept great. Balcony room was very cute and a bit of a view of the night sky and city.

Older facility that has been updated as best they can. Would be nice to know the age of facilities ghat are offered.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I agree with you, it would be nice if the age and remodel dates were available to all guests. If you read our Wyndham site we do mention that our property is 30 years old and that we renovated in 2023, but the information can be difficult to find. We hope to see you again!

Inexpensive and convenient
Conveniently located in Santa Monica and public transportation is efficient in Santa Monica. One could stay across the street from the beach but rates will be double unlike Days Inn. There's a great wine bar across the street from the hotel, too.
