I liked the short walk to the pier, many shopping stores and walkable area. What I didn’t like was the outside wasn’t safe after dark, and the limited options for dining in the hotel.

No soundproofing at all, someone running and stomping and jumping a lot upstairs, also located right beside the trains, loud train noises and announcements 24/7. Rude front desk staff, no welcome instructions and no print resources in room re dining/hrs/amenities/snackbar, etc etc. Hot tub smells and has a dirty hue to it. 3 towels in the rooms for 2 adults?? Dirty carpets in halls.

For the price I paid it should have been a 5 stars but it really felt like less than a 3 stars. I guess you pay more for the location but still it should have the same standards as any other Marriott.

I had a double queen studio with balcony on Colorado. Very spacious. Even the balcony was large. The metro is extremely loud. A long with some unruly individuals using the metro. Hard wood floors are noisy and get dirty quickly. You can hear cleaning & movement above you. The bathroom fan doesn’t do a good job for humidity when showering.

The housekeeping staff was on strike at the hotel. The management did not bother informing us before hand. Rooms were not cleaned the second night and it was blamed on the strike. Marriott points were rewarded as compensation. While we understand this was out of their control, they could have taken preemptive steps to ensure a smoother stay for guests. Valet Parking is also overpriced at $50 and cafe below has extremely limited options. Overall stay was not worth the cost of more than $400 per night.

The staff were on strike and it was so incredibly noisy and bothersome. I paid $700 for this hotel and complained and was offered no compensation for my stay which is absurd. The strikers came into the hotel blowing their horns and chanting. Marriott is better than this. We were given no warning that this was going on and I bet that if I had known I would not have stayed at this location.

The property is fairly new, although there were a number of things that they did not advertise. For obvious reasons. It is right across the street from the new metro station. This brings a number of folks that loiter around the hotel area. It was not advertised that the front door has to open with a room key. Police were arresting a subject and my wife texted my "Please hurry, I do not feel safe". We were supposed to stay 2 nights, although decided to make it one. Expedia was great helping getting us a full refund. The Asst. General Manager only wanted to refund us 1/2 because we checked out after check-out time. I explained it was only because we had a full morning with our son and daughter-in-law, which is why we were there. It was not until I mentioned I would be filing a complaint with Bonvoy that she said, just a minute. When she came back, she said that being a Bonvoy member gives us an automatic late check out so she could give us a full refund. The member number was on my check-in form. Needless to say, we will never be returning.

the property is very nice and appears to have gone through a remodel sometime recently. The only issue with the Courtyard in Santa Monica is the parking charge at $50 a day. That could deter some from staying there. Having said that, the property is immaculately clean and the room was clean and upscale. Nice property overall.

Hotel was walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The pier, outside shopping mall and lots of restaurants.

場所はとても良かったですが、タオルを頼んでも持ってきてくれず何回も言わなければならなかった。 そして、部屋の掃除はしてくれなかったらです。 場所は良かったです。
