"We visited Salamder for 3 nights late September and immediately had an incident with the front staff which carelessly handled our luggage and damaged my wifes bag. During our stay the hotel repeately said they would have the right peaople contact us. Never happened. After again experessing our dismay at departure director of hospitality Y. Almodovar contacted us and made an apointmenet to adress our issues over a phone meeting at specified time and date. I was never called and my emails after has been ignored. I will argue that this hotel is undone and in no sense ready for its claim as a 5 star destination. The property is very nice, but poorly managed. I will go elswhere next time im in DC."

"It is a beautiful hotel and clean. Depending on what you want to do in DC, the location might not be favorable. It is a walking distance from the Capitol but a 45-minute walk from the Lincoln Memorial. The breakfast was not impressive, but okay. And Finally, the surroundings might be very much dead after dark. "

"Enkelt og flott hotell! Fin pris, passe store rom, komfortabel seng, rent og pent. Treningsrom i kjelleren, og nabo-lokalet har mat og drikke. Bar på taket er ikke et minus. Hotellet ligger sentralt til metro og sightseeing."
