I recently had the misfortune of staying at Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
Upon entering my assigned room, I was horrified to discover a SNAKE in our room. Naturally, I immediately alerted the staff to this serious safety concern. However, instead of addressing the situation with the urgency it demanded, the staff's response was shockingly inadequate. Not only were they dismissive of the situation, but they went as far as mocking me, suggesting that the snake could be a toy or my pet. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for guest safety is simply unacceptable.
To make matters worse, we discovered the snake on the second day of our stay, leading us to realize that it must have been in the room with us the whole time prior without us knowing. This revelation only added to our sense of unease and discomfort during our stay.
Despite my insistence on being moved to a different room, the staff showed no sense of urgency or concern for my well-being. Eventually, I was relocated to another room. However, the problems did not end there. The new room was not adequate with noticeable stains on the bedding, including what appeared to be blood. To make matters worse, there was no toilet seat, making basic hygiene impossible.
