«Road trip from Melbourne to Uluṟu via Coober Pedy. Melissa at reception was the highlight. Super friendly, welcoming and Informative. Local of 30 years corrected our misguided perception of Coober Pedy after reading statistics from Red Suburbs site about the “violent crime” in the town. Statistics are totally misleading and relate to an isolated incident that happened in late 2023 from visiting Alice Springs mob who made their way to Coober Pedy for a funeral. «Very well set up in close proximity to Flinders Ranges on historical working station with self-contained cabins, information/reception, caravan park, woolshed restaurant, shop, excursions - 4WD, helicopter, aeroplane and trekking and walks. Staff at reception, restaurant and on 4WD excursions were wonderful.»

«Great location, only complaint is the light that shines directly into the window until about 10pm at night which is hard to sleep with if you are going to bed early. And the sheets are a bit rough it would be nice if there was another option aswell »

«I have stayed there 2 times before the room was fined dirty cups in the cupboard there were seeds from a lemon or orange on the bench so hadn't been cleaned very well the shower curtains need replacing bed was comfortable the TV didnt work at all and no internet connection available »
